maybe he's just on the beer, but he's on something!
seriously though he sure got a lot of muscle to go along with that fat, and his game got better not worse... usually if you're just sitting around eating twinkies you don't gain muscle and improve your golf game
dechambeau never had a big turn...torque wasnt his key to power
he gained weight...muscle and fat
he is less flexible but he never used that flexibility in his swing anyway
ok i'll take your word for it
i saw him win back in 2017 in the quad cities and remembered him being so scrawny
that john deere classic is a fun tournament to go to... real laid back and you get right up close to the golfers, and free beer samples at 6am, how can you argue with that?
ive been to erin hills a few times
maybe the best place ive ever been
that's nice but for stuff like the us open the main area was such a freaking far walk to the course
whistling straits is fantastic if the ryder cup goes as planned
although, you basically have to stay in a town far away and pass nice/decent houses
great area to live, not for a hotel
i wouldnt want to walk erin hills daily,,,,they dont have carts i think?

whole fukkin course is a walk bro
it is about 1 mile to #10 tee if you are starting on that hole

no carts
my friend's wife was their accountant for a while... even with free greens fees it was around $100 for the caddie and "suggested tip"
so it was OK to play but there are other courses i'd rather play for $100-150 with a cart, plenty of great courses in wisconsin... can't imagine paying over $300 and walking, when i can play stuff like wynn in vegas for $300 with a cart
i dont know erin hills structure, but a caddy gets between $11.50-$13.50 of that per person when i caddied (forecaddie)
i forget the individual caddy fee we get to keep
i know suggested tip for a forecaddie was $20+/person and individual carrying bags was $50+ (i know whistling straits is that way,,,,,or atleast was)
just a joke
i quit after 2 months even though i was in college and couldve moved to different locations
i went through caddie training at merrill hills here, about 30 years ago, and i think i lasted 2 weeks, that's a dumb job lugging clubs around in heat/humidity here
whistling straits they always carry 2 bags on the straits course! that's really stupid... at least the irish course you can take a cart and just have forecaddies, instead of paying full money for 1/2 a caddie

pretty sure whistling straits is linked to pinehurst and a course in florida among others (including the masters)
when the seasons change, caddies can move to these locations
