I have a hard time believing that Wallace would go public about this "Noose" without ever seeing it and possibly making himself look like an idiot.

If someone told me that there was something offensive in my garage, I would want to see it, and so would anyone else.

They used to "Noose" angle to get attention, knowing that it wasn't a noose at all.

had the fbi not cleared it up, and had the fake narrative remained the "truth" (in the truest cnn meaning of the word), he probably would have won the most popular driver award, but now, particularly if he doesn't acknowledge this was in no way meant for him, the fans are not going to warm up to him.....

I expected a tone along the lines of "relief that no one in the garage actually committed this act," not some bullshit about insisting it was a noose, as in a hangman's noose, and he couldn't be sure if it was meant for him or not...... clearly it was there before, along with others, apparently, to raise the stall doors.....

now, if someone had taken the "noose" from its normal spot where it hangs, and draped it on his hood, or threw it on his seat, or done something like that, I could see why he'd still be pissed..... As is, he should've been thankful it wasn't some racist asshole in the garage.....

how else do you tie a rope for a garage to make it easier to pull down? and i was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt too. that takes a big stretch for your mind to already go to a race issue.

i agree with optional and would be interesting to hear if bubba hears things about his race already so a "noose" garage rope automatically triggers his defenses. that is a little different and my sympathy might come back.

It wasn't just Bubba Smoll-eee-ay's stall in 2019, but numerous stalls had the hangman's know hanging right by the door, stall after stall.... the loop is there to latch onto.loop over metal prongs along the wall next to the door rails, so that it can be held open at a variety of heights, and kept open; the loop also serves as a "handle" to hold onto when raising the garage.

granted, all those ropes didn't need to end in elaborate "noose" configurations, but the fact is numerous stalls had them (see video below):
