i honestly do not understand, WHAT THE FUK do these people want? it's obvious black kids gravitate directly towards basketball, which they dominate over other races in the US. he's pointing out less than 8% black players in the league. i don't follow. are dominicans not minorities? venezuelans? do most of these kids not grow up in conditions FAR WORSE than what black kids experience here? i've heard so many stories over the years about how they can't afford gloves, bats, balls, etc. and they have to literally play with whatever they can find. sometimes rocks and sticks.
i seriously cannot grasp what percentage of domination they feel they are owed. maybe i'm just ignorant, but he comes off as god dam fukin idiot to me. MLB has done an absurd job on a global level of bringing as many countries and races into the game as possible. who else has the diversity they do? you can find white, black, asian, dominican, venezuelan, mexican, canadian players and coaches in every organization. we even have girls who can play in the little league world series.
