I've scaled back my fantasy investment the last couple years. I've had years where I've done 5-6 leagues anywhere from $50-$1000 and I always seem to do pretty well. Even on the down years I'm usually close to break even. But the constant player evaluation for starts, trades, pickups and so forth was so time consuming that it was cutting into my handicapping during football season, especially on the college front. And since I find handicapping to be a more reliable and immediate return on investments, I didn't want fantasy to interfere.
So last year I only did three leagues, the biggest being $250, and I was less consumed with fantasy, freeing me up to invest more time into handicapping games rather than just individual performances. It allowed me to keep a beat on college football week to week and bet more confidently, so it's an approach I'll continue to use.
As far as Djax goes, he's traditionally been boom or bust, but I'll take the high ceiling in that ADP range given the makeup of my roster. If he sucks, it shouldn't be a big deal, but if he evolves into Carson's favorite target he could be an absolute steal. The one full game he played with Carson Wentz he absolutely went off, and I'm not impressed by the other Eagles wideouts so it'll be interesting to see what Djax could do over the course of a season if he stays healthy.Comment -

I'm saying they "financed" the slave trade. They owned the ships, and made the money selling them. For all I know, they "the financiers" could have lived anywhere in the world. The facts are they made the money of the sale of the slaves to the white land owners....as did the blacks in Africa that rounded up their own people. So, blacks, whites, and the jews benefited from the slavery of the blacks.
Jews were enslaved by the Egyptians, whites were enslaved by the Muslims and the Romans, blacks were enslaved in America, etc etc etc. Asians? Don't know. They enslave each other. See China. See North Korea. Hispanics?

Yeah. I hit pretty good 3 years ago and won I think around 5-6 k. Then the next year lost that right back. Last year only did one team @350 and finished in fourth making the playoffs only to get wacked in that. A thing you could do is just get into Best Ball leagues where there are no drop/adds, no lineup, nothing. You draft and you are done. PM me if you want to know any strategies on those or if you even maybe want to go partners on any high stakes leagues. I would partner up on a nickel and up.Comment -

it was the portuguese ships followed by the Spanish, English and Dutch that were trading slaves way before America.
