5Dimes isn't paying out any winnings at all for futures markets like the NBA Conference Finals, Finals, but they are allowing players with pending bets with negative equity to cash in on the fraud by taking refunds. Said players with zero integrity are in turn turning a blind eye to the theft because they are profiting off of the scenario of players getting cheated.

Such a sad state. I cannot believe that this is going on and people like this exist.

if you're talking about me then

1) i have more pending wagers with positive equity than negative
2) i haven't had any nhl or nba pending wagers refunded

perhaps you have reading comprehension issues but nobody here is turning any blind eyes

I had positive equity with my futures too. This is the crap that happens when dealing with an unregulated sketchy business. Consider yourself lucky you're getting a refund. Read through the thread and see people who were victims of books just closing up shop and taking the balances with them.

that is exactly my feelings on it too

they are holding my money, and redapples keeps calling them thieves, which isn't helpful or productive

he doesn't even have money there yet he is hurting those of us trying to get paid

I think on Oct. 1 we will know why they handled it this way. Letting futures play out beyond sept 25th is probably a recipe for a zero return on your investment no matter the outcome. So which is worse? zero or cancellation?

I put my request in on 9/9/20 at 3:30 p.m...….no email yet, but I did speak to customer service multiple times and they said I did do the phone verification and there are just a lot to process right now and that I will get my money...….


I had big open parlay remaining with one leg left, so I close it with one team and then I threw my other cash in my account on the other team. Only doing that so I can make my final withdrawal attempt tonight.


Still sucks because I have about $8,000 in future for the Celtics to win the Eastern Conference, and one of them is in an open parlay. So, that parlay is just going to be "refunded" and not graded without the final leg.

I've never had to respond to an email to get a check, and I've requested several over the years. When did you request your check? My $3000 request from last Weds (9/9) is still in the "requested" stage.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with your situation or not but I think the last time I requested a courier check from 5Dimes they told me it had it had to be rounded off by $500. Meaning... if I didn't have 2K in my account I would have to request $1500 instead.

I had my open single futures refunded yesterday, without asking. I had two election props and both refunded. I still have one parlay waiting, with Giannis MVP as the only ungraded slot. That should hopefully be resolved before 9/21 unless the NBA slow rolls this for some reason.

FYI, B of A accepts those Canadian USD checks up to $25,000. Clears in a few days.

Same with Citibank and Chase. Have deposited Canadian Checks from 5Dimes and other books and never had a problem.

That's where I'm at now. If the Celtics win the Eastern Conference, I'll make at least $8,000. I would typically hedge, but since I don't know when the series will finish or if 5dimes would even pay out, I can't do that right now. It definitely sucks right now. Just trying to get my current withdrawal processed, and then make my final one (unless they end up counting NBA futures) tomorrow.

I've made a lot of money at 5Dimes over the years. This risk of them going under or any other book going under is worth it for me. If it wasn't, I would have quit years ago.

BetIslands stole 7K from me when they went out of business. Guess what, playing at BetIslands was still worth it for me. There's always a chance that a book could go under or something could happen. All of us are aware of this. I'm not sure what your whole point is here besides that you don't bet futures in fear of they will either get canceled or the Book will go out of business.

My 5Dimes futures wagers have been returned to me and I have already begun withdrawing my money out. I realize you are trying to make yourself look like some kind of hero here but I'm trying to figure out what the hell is your point??

I'm not sure if you realize this or not but not everyone has the same betting style as you. Some people make dozens of plays a day and never talk to anyone about those plays even once, not a single post about their plays. There are those that know how to find value in futures and they realize that they can be very profitable if you are patient.

Then there are gamblers like yourself who it appears that your main concern isn't trying to find value or make money... you're main concern is to just attract a lot of drama around just One play. All your eggs seem to be in one basket. And you want the entire forum to know which basket all of your eggs are in so you start a thread about it called your Big Time Play. And you think that the entire forum should thank you for being so generous with your hunches.

You have your style of betting and I have mine. What is it that you are hoping to accomplish in this thread?
