#247Actually, that's not accurate. BetAnySports has existed for years and has been in the rating guide since 2008. The part about Asia is true though, that has been the focus along with ChineseBookie and Vietbet, who use a common software platform.
Correct. The lines are the same as software is common, but it's a separately owned operation. A lot of books share software and technology resources, hosting centers, etc. Interesting point about the lines. Do keep us posted of any feedback if you decide to give them a try.
Agreed good idea, contact 5Dimes with any concerns. They are dealing with a large volume of queries right now but are available to field questions. Write mail@sportsbookreview.com as well so we can escalate any recurring feedback to 5Dimes management.Comment -

When Heritage opened the second site, our og heritage acounts were taken out of low vig and put into the reduced juice/cash back.
We were treated like new customers by risk managment.
This could be a chance to get back into the 5D bookmaking, at least temporarily, and we would like to exploit it.

#252reminds me of when thegreek shutdown US customers but allowed you to transfer to heritage using same account number. I've been through this with pinnacle and matchbook also and each time I got my money or moved to another site. sounds like betanysports is going to be a good fallback here.Comment -

#266Reading through the BAS site, the rewards, promos, dep/wd options, casino, racebook...same exact replica of 5dimes. I mean, same exact. Let's just hope they pay fast and reliably.
They even have the same betting contest.Comment -

#268that's because it's the same book, you guys are freaking out over nothingComment -

#270Yeah if BetAnySports stays open to U.S. and payouts are smooth, there's no real problem here besides the headache of transferring balances and futures.Comment -
#271Actually, there is at least one difference...The Maximum Wire Payout is 5k instead of 9.5K.Last edited by RonPaul2008; 09-07-20, 11:40 PM.Comment -

Once transferred, the BAS site looks and feels exactly like 5d. Other than the name you can't tell the difference.Comment -
#273How much do they charge for payouts?Comment -

#276Glad to hear you had a smooth experience transferring accounts but I guarantee you some here will have major headaches. 5dimes CS has been less than stellar in my experience, and that's putting it very politely.Comment -
#277So what is everyone doing then with their balance at 5Dimes? Sounds like they are wanting people to transfer your balance to BetAnySports. If you go on their live chat and tell them to transfer your balance to BetAnySports can they do that then?
I've been using 5dimes for years I don't even know what's the best online sportsbetting site now. I live in Colorado and legal sportsbetting was approved May 1st and draft kings/fan duel and other places have opened up for legal betting but I have no idea how their lines are. Is it best to stay with an offshore book like BetAnySports or go with a legal place like draft kings/fan duel?Last edited by Nittany Lion; 09-08-20, 12:21 AM.Comment -
#278I found a huge red flag and I don't believe this policy is on the 5dimes website and certainly it was never enforced in my experience.
Wagers made immediately after a player withdrawal for any reason, on markets dramatically affected by this action, will be reviewed by management. This type of play can result in permanent account suspension.
So, for instance, if Lebron is announced out and you pound the other team before the line changes, they can do whatever they want to you.
Edit: 5Dimes does list the same policy on their website. But 5Dimes never enforced this on me...at least in an example like the one I posted above.

That's your choice. If I had legal online betting in NY, with many different options, similar to NJ, I'd probably say goodbye to the hassles of offshore.Comment -
