Hmmm, the legal online sportsbetting was just approved here in Colorado May 1st so I guess I should research and see what's out there. Maybe just go that route instead of going with BetAnySports (BAS). I liked 5Dimes interface and from what others posted BAS is just a clone of it so it would be easy to pickup. Like I said, my account is heavily limited and I have a good 20 second or so wager delay...obviously because of my type of action. But I was never threatened or had my account banned. I suspect they used my action as sort of an early warning system.
Also, stale lines and bad lines are entirely different things.

Isn't there a 3% fee to transfer to any other book they allow but betanysports? That's what it says on their website. They don't seem to be waiving any fees on the website for withdrawals/transfers, other than the betanysports option. My own guess is that they don't want the any connection with betanysports to be out in public on either website. They are doing this as a solid to their US Customers, if asked, in chat or on a the phone. They want to dissolve 5Dimes entirely and come back with a new name/structure that will be as separated from the current 5Dimes family as possible. But that's purely an educated guess, trying to put things together logically.
