Fox Sports sideline reporter Pam Oliver’s report to start the second half drew a lot of concern from football fans watching the Los Angeles Rams-Green Bay Packers game.
Oliver appeared to slur her words as she discussed Green Bay’s adjustment to the absence of Rams’ star defensive tackle Aaron Donald. The Packers are trying to continue the up-tempo offense that gave them success in the first half, coach Matt LaFleur told Oliver.Comment -
I told several people with whom I was watching the game that the first sideline interview (I think it was early 3Q?) she was clearly slurring her speech. I asked, "Is she drunk?" Then after the game was over it was there again but you might not have noticed as much as if you didn't realize what was going on the first time. A mini stroke could be the other culprit; the cold was much less likely (unless she was boozing to stay warm).Comment -
