Yea Mike, I've got some friends up here who are tight with him, have actually wrestled him. Boxing is not his first love but he'll win this easily! Ben is incredibly competitive and will take this very seriously.

Looks like Ben isnt gonna go down easy as he has been training with Freddy Roach. Who knows how much Roach has left but the way Asken boxes anything is an improvement for him. Just glad to see Ben taken it seriously

The only path I see for Askren is if he makes this a dog fight and rely on Jake to gas himself out. From a technical standpoint, I think Jake has the clear advantage here. The ring/cage/fight experience obviously favors Askren. I see the younger fighter who has surrounded himself with recognized athletes/legends to make a statement. I would go with -240 on Jake on this one. i expect Askren to throw a few haymakers and then clinch/tie up. He will get a warning for 'hugging' and Jake will smesh him. I got Jake 3rd round KO.

i remember growing up in highschool the guy that could box always destroyed the wrestler. Wrestler always got knocked out and the boxer became the king of the school everyone fear. Wrestlers today got a lot smarter and have changed the tide realizing that one takedown and it is over. I fought a few guys that could box and it is all the same they are terrible on the ground so you just throw a couple fake jabs till you can suck them into a takedown. All fall like fish out of the water. Sadly Ben has none of these options. The only way he wins is if his chin turns into Haglers and he makes this a terrible sloppy clinch fight and hits a lucky punch. This looks like a gift like the Mayweather/Hatton fight was years ago where you could get money at decent odds.

I'm not that familiar with boxing what is the warning you get for hugging and how many times are you allowed to do it?

Askren has fought some of the best strikers in the world and took all those beatings.

Do you think UFC let’s one of its fighters lose to a YouTuber? Can you imagine the embarrassment? Also if Jake Paul wins then who is his next matchup? If he beats an MMA fighter then good luck getting any easy fights after this.

Ben is obviously going to rely on his fight experience with heavy pressure, in his face defensive posture, and try to wear down Jake into "deep waters" where he hasn't been professionally tested. He will throw a few punches and clinch/hug, throw rabbit punches. Once he does get hit with solid punches, he will instinctively grab Jake and slow him down with lots of hugs. It is the ref's discretion on how many times he will allow a boxer to hug/stall.

Ben is retired. all these guys he so called fought he could takedown. Don't you understand this concept? Ben has to stand up and fight like he tried against Robbie Lawler. He got flatten and than his wrestling saved the day. He does not have that option. Paul just boxes. Say what ya want but he does have some skills if you compare him to Ben. Even tho i heard Paul was a pretty good wrestler Ben would destroy him in wrestling. Only conspiracy stuff i see with this one if they call it a disqualification and nobody wins so the big sided bet money doesn't get paid and that should be Paul. I hope it isnt tho.

I didn't watch that fight but when I watched Floyd vs Manny it seemed like Floyd hugged him over 500 times. So basically Askren vs Paul is going to come down to who the ref is if he allows hugging like in the Manny Floyd fights than Askren will win if not Paul wins.

we can all say how bad Ben is at boxing looking at his MMA career since he is a better wrestler....but he still took shots to the face by some of the biggest guys in MMA, he has that experience of getting hit in the face multiple times
