I think the biggest issue is that the govt didn't secure enough vaccines if that statement is accurate. Seems like a wealthy country like Canadia would be able to put in a PO and secure enough for the population.

Re: Cancer cure

I don't think you guys understand what cancer treatment looks like today vs even 15 years ago. Today most cancer is treated like a chronic disease, not a death sentence. We can treat stage 4 cancers and people can live for years not months.

I have a buddy who called me 3 or 4 years ago and after some stints in the ER and hospital, they diagnosed him with Stage 4 lung cancer. It had metastasized to other organs/lymph nodes. I just went to Hawaii with him for a week, played golf, went fishing, surfing, etc. He will die of the cancer no doubt, but he's been able to maintain a life that 10-15 years ago would have ended in 6 months.

It's not perfect, but much better than just slamming chemo and dying a miserable death.

I mean we pay for it in taxes which I'm fine with.

Ended up in hospital overnight a few years back had to get ct scan, ultrasounds, xrays and bunch of tests done. Total bill was zero when it could have been closer to 10 to 15k in the States.

Alot of people don't like it because of the waits. But I'll take that over paying any day.

Sports Wise what happens to the Nhl Playoffs.Im Guessing the Canadian Team will have to find a Us Building to Play in.Only one team will have to come to America because the first 2 rounds the same division teams will play each other.The first time will see a different matchup is in the Conf Finals.

Alot can change by that time. This is supposed to only be for a month and by that point vaccine first doses should be in most people.
