With Pinnacle closed to US residents, what are the best books for betting on rugby and australian rules football? I'm not as concerned about getting good lines as I am about not paying excessive juice. I notice that Mansion offers both rugby and australian rules football. But are they active markets? And 5 Dimes carries both, but I wonder if the juice is excessive? Any suggestions?

#6Cris and the Greek both offer these sports, lines/prices are as good as anywhere else if memory serves me. Prob your best bet with Pinny gone. Matchbook would be nice, volume would be a concern. 5Dimes and WSEX etc etc... would also be valuable outs.Last edited by mad; 01-24-07, 10:38 PM.Comment -
#8I actually like wagering on these two sports. However, now that pinnacle is no longer an option for U.S. players it's not worth betting on anymore.
I don't know how the rest of the U.S. players feel about this one, but I can't bet on a sport where I'd lose that type of value via that outrageous vig.Comment -

I agree with you. I'm not willing to pay excessive juice, either. The two possibilities that I am aware of are Mansion and Tradesports. Mansion has both rugby and australian rules football listed. Rugby starts up in a couple of weeks. I'll see what Mansion has to offer at that time. And I was told by Tradesports that they carry rugby but not australian rules football. So, I'll see what they offer, also. I'm hopeful. But we'll see.Comment
