Some of you are missing the big picture here.

If you're a pitching star in a bright lights big city like LA where the CNN and TMZ cameras are up your ass 24/7 recording every time you even cut a fart you just don't put yourself in these types of situations. Whether he said, she said, she wanted it, no she didn't want it is not relevant. It should have some relevance but in today's 2020's mass media like I said there are certain situations you just have to avoid.

Derek Jeter, the ball player I have total respect for, but not my favorite personality.
He made it his second career to stay out of those situations, no drink in public, no 4am parties, etc. he 'got it' he knew how to protect his gazillion dollar personal empire.
Jeter made sure he wasn't going to go out like Bauer's going to go out.

Others in other entertaining genres too.
They get coaching on what to say in front of cameras, how to act in public.
And too bad if you don't like CNN and TMZ up your ass 24/7, even though it's not written in your job description it's in the job description.
