The Washington Football Team is welcoming the LGBTQ community to Thursday Night Football this week ... with the org. announcing its monumental "Pride Night Out."
It's a first for the WFT ... which partnered up with Team DC -- an organization that promotes LGBTQ involvement in sports -- to put on the event for their Week 2 matchup against the New York Giants at FedEx Field.
The team is hosting a dope pre-game party with an all-you-can-eat buffet and beer ... plus a "guaranteed limited edition Washington Football Team Pride giveaway."
There will also be reserved tickets -- prices starting at $28 -- specifically for the Pride Night attendees, so they can enjoy the game together in the lower level, upper level and club level.
The bash will have performances by The Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington and the LGBTQ marching band, the DC’s Different Drummers, at the game, too. The Pride Bowl this Thursday night is a toss upComment -
#38Huskie could very well be the worst FBS team in history.
Edsall says I'll step down at the end of the year, our AD said "No, you're shit canned now"
Edsall was the biggest piece of shit ever.
Basketball, Calhoun won multiple championships.
Geno is in charge of the greatest dynasty ever.
Ice hockey, usually performs well in the NCAA national tournament.
Baseball, one of the top programs in the Northeast region (can't compete with USC, Texas, or Arizona State though)
Football?
Can't beat a pee-wee teamComment -

Plus, let’s just be honest at this point. Danny Dimes is a backup QB. When is the last time the guy had a crazy good game?Comment -

Tonight's game is a stand alone spotlight game.
The whole NFL world is watching.
If he has a good game, people might be like "this guy has potential with protection"
If he shits the bed, well.....Comment -

#51Like I said who were those prime time games against? I know one was the greatest QB and coach in the history of the league. The 4-0 is directly related to the team he is facing tonight and I don’t even need him to win. He can lose by 3 or 4. What’s his record ATS on those prime time games? I know New England kicked his ass and covered. Lemme take a look. See if I can dig it up. Pretty sure he covered a MNF game gotta find the others.Comment -
#52Never realized how brutal their schedule is. WFT loses this game they could legit be 0-12 going into Dec 12 against Dall.
Can't see them being favored in any of the games prior. Saints wk. 5 most winnable game.

#53Well so far I dug up ole big dick Jones is 8-2 ATS as a road dog and 9-4 ATS on the road. He is 2-3 ATS in prime time which isn’t good but much different than 0-5. One of those covers was last year against the Super Bowl Champion Buccs.Comment -

#55I've watched all the Week 1 games. The Redskins looked like a live playoff contender that was only lacking the playmakers to be a top team. Heinicke didn't play like a drop-off from Fitzpatrick. The Washington defense had to be good because Herbert was awesome for the Chargers. I'm not a Washington fan but overall I was impressed. Ignore their rating and the 2020 NFC East garbage tag.
The Giants were awful. Barkley went down on 1st contact, only blocked once, and dropped a pass. Jones threw a 54-yard jump ball knowing it was a jump-offside free play and he a TD pass where the defender missed a tackle giving up 18 YAC yards. That was 72 of the 112 yards he had late in the game. They showed very little on either side of the ball. They looked like a 3-14 team.
The opening line was -220, +190 and i'm surprised the Giants were bet at that price. I thought Washington was the better bet. I rarely comment on NFL games but I really like Washington to comfortably dominate this game. I'll probably have egg on my face tomorrow.Comment -

I have zero faith in Booker.
No faith.
DeVonta Freeman was a very capable backup.Comment -

#70WFT takes a 14-10 lead into the half. I’m ok with that. Giants get the ball to start the second half and we are at a PUSH right now.Comment
