Like the age old adage reads, "it's not how you start, but how you finish"
I have a philosophy I like to preach to anybody that'll listen.
The secret to successful trend betting is to get on them right as they start, and get off right before they end.
With all due respect to my bud Mac, this starts a downward trend for the Cavs (imo) and might be worth a fade for awhile going forward.Comment -
#529^When the Cavs were up big after one quarter the Pelicans were +1200 to win live. Who would have known?
I thought about hedging that for security just on the initial investment but said no way the Cavs have this why waste the money!!
Just sharing the what if's... Errrrr...Comment -

I hate to say it but this might be an opportunity to look at Ben Simmons if Rubio is out for the season. There's been a few rumors that the 6ers have reached out to the Cavs for a few weeks now. I really didn't like the idea but the more I think about it, it may be a huge move. It all depends what they'd have to give up. Garland, Jarret and Mobley would be untouchable but I also think Okoro could be a good one. Maybe trade Sexton, Rubio or Love and one other piece. Most likely Okoro or Markannen.Comment -
#531Oh, I agree. This injury to Rubio leaves the Cavs with just 3 guards, Kevin Pangos (the only true PG), Okoro and Valentine. Neither of them are great ball handlers, none of them can create for themselves or their teammates. Garland and Rubio made the offense go. When Rubio went down all hope was lost. There's a few solid GLeague PGs out there but I'm no sure they can even trade for any?

#533Can you believe this shit? No way this could happen???

But I think the Cavs should seriously kick the tires on Goran Dragic. He would be a very similar fit to Rubio. Toronto is done with him. Could probably trade for him with peanuts or wait until February deadline and get him for free?Comment -
#534u were always living in fantasy land fish and now u have hit reality lmao....cavs are going to collapse 2nd half of the season and no chance of making the playoffsComment -

#537Rubio out with the knee tells me the gravy train has ended. I'm out on the Cavs!
May begin fading soon.Comment -

The Cavs seem to always start off red hot in games. They could still continue that trend. They just can't sustain in games and begin to fade then after.Comment -
#541Fade time for the Cavs!!

Both gave me over 6x value.
Used Beal at SG, had no space for Embid or Freak.
Still looking at an 80 dollar DFS cash.
I still maintain (and proving it) there is money to be made in the dailies, problem is the dopey 12 percent rake.
But they're fun and I'm turning a profit, nothing life changing, but a profit.
I love the dailies because it keeps you up to date on all the players.Comment -
#543Good point Nasher. Only way to keep up.
Cavs on fade until Garland comes back. Understand on auto play.Comment -

I play single entries only, fuk that multiple entry shit, that's for syndicates that pool their money and max out 20 lineups, not for me.
I'll do my homework, enter my best salary capped lineup, you ( not you Mac) put up your best lineup, let's go.
I play ten dollar one entry games at DK and FD, four times a week.
I have my own database, and I use Rotowire too, the best in the industry.
I get their premium product free since i contribute to the site.
NBA is not hard, concentrate on the rotation, pay attention to the bench guys who may get an extended run due to injuries is key.
That separates the sharps from the fish, you can't roster Joker and Harden on the same entry unless you balance it out with a RJ Hampton or a guy like Thybulle at forward for instance.
The average Joe doesn't know what Corey Kispert does off the bench for Washington.
They just signed Wannamaker I see.Comment -
#545I mean yeah, the rake is stupid, but if you do your home work and put in an hour or so a day into it, you can turn a buck into a hundy.

Let's win that money Stevie!! Can absolutely win on the dailies if you pay close attention to the teams and know the players.Comment -

#548What about getting Lebron back as a rental he can just resign with Laker after next season? They can trade the injured guys and would basically coast to a championship if they traded Sexton, Rubio, and Markannen for Lebron and Melo and Howard.Comment -
#549So the Lakers give up Melo, Bron and Dwight for Markannen and two players that won't see the floor for the rest of the season?Comment -
