#37Draftkings.
But who am I to judge a homer? I bet the Bulls 100-1 to win the title. Actually, I think that was a damn good deal, I can't find better than 50-1 now. My theory was that with so many new players, we just don't know how good they might be. Still don't, but it seems they might be pretty good. DeRozan, Ball and Caruso were damn fine additions.

#43The way Lebron carried the Cavaliers into winning their championship was similar in the NFL of Peyton Manning carrying the Colts to their championship. These teams are low tier until carried by these rare players. After these players left, these teams became low tier again. The same with the Bulls, no championship for the Bulls since Jordan.Comment -

Here's a quote from Paul George to help explain why he in particular, and the Clippers in general, had problems with the Cavs.
"We missed some shots. I thought we were just flat from the start," Clippers coach Tyronn Lue said after his team scored only 79 points.
“Usually, you would want the big out there,” George said of the sprawling Cleveland front line. “Usually that’s to our advantage. But when you’ve got two other seven-footers behind him, it’s kind of not at an advantage. You beat him, it’s another seven-footer back there. So that’s why this one was a little different. Because when you tried to attack one, there’s another one stepping up and, you know.”
“They were sending multiple guys at the rim, getting rebounds, so I thought that was kind of deflating to us,” Paul George said. ... “We couldn’t really get out and run. We were using a lot of energy trying to rebound. And then when we did rebound, we had to send everybody to the boards. So really wasn’t no outlets or advantage going down, fast breaks. So they just did a good job of that. That allowed them to load up on their defense.”Comment -

#48Yeah, they'll have to learn to finish in the 4th quarter. They have come out strong in the 1st half in most games. Sexton is pounding the ball too much, he really needs to settle down but Allen and Mobley are a dynamic duo. Those guys can defend any position. Mobley with a huge block on Lillard tonight and then Allen guarded him and contested a last second 3 that could have tied the game. This team could be scary good if Sexton can get right. Garland needs to hit the weight room too and they need to stay healthy. We know Love is made of glass.Comment -

#51Cavs on the move. Much improved. There's so much parity this year. I feel like 90% of the league will bunch between 30-50 wins. Truly an "on any given night" league. Still think Cavs finish 3rd in the central, but could make the playoffs from there. Bucks/Bulls will be 1-2 or 2-1. Cavs probably ahead of Indiana, maybe. Right around .500, give or take.Comment -

There's something about this team that could be special. Their defense is very hard to penetrate in the paint. They're playing short handed with Love out (Like usual) and Markannen out with Covid. Great win tonight. I think they've covered 8 out of 10 games thus far. The lines are still inflated. I don't mind cashing some +200 MLs.Comment -

#56Cavs blow out the Knicks on the road but Colin Sexton suffers a meniscus tear. Unfukkingreal. This team was playing some of the best basketball and Colin hadn’t hit his stride yet. Love is still out. Okoro hurt. Markannen still struggling with Covid. Why can’t we have nice things?Comment -
#57Cavs are just 1 game back in the Eastern Conference lead. Evan Mobley and Darius Garland are fukkking dogs. This is a team you do not want to face in the playoffs if healthy. Boston had a 19 point lead and the Cavs walked them down.
That was a playoff atmosphere/crowd last night.

#60I'm going to bump this since there's still plenty of haters. Cavs odds keep dropping each week as they are only 2 games back the Bulls and Bucks. They've done this while losing their superstar Colin Sexton and half the rest of the team being out with injuries and the corona. Mobley just got back and they blow out the Mavs and tonight the Heat both on the road. They were 6.5 dogs to the mavs and 4 point dogs to the Heat and beat both of them by 25+. They hadn't won in Miami in like 15 years. This team is fun to watch. I think they had 15 blocks. Good lord.
They have been a covering machine going 15-5-2. Plus cashing ML as dogs. If this team stays healthy they are going to be a hard out. I don't even think about it, I've been betting them ML every game as the books have yet to adjust. Hopefully they can keep winning.

#64If Mobley doesn't win rookie of the year then I don't know what to say. Look at this stat.
Mobley has 34 blocks and 34 personal fouls
and this is with him being out a few weeks. He, just like the Cavs team can defend without fouling. It's pretty remarkable.
I haven't seen a rookie play this well since Kevin Durant. Unbelievable talent. The Cavs finally getting it right.Comment -

#69Settle down, Mac. Yes, they were undervalued, but your hype is a bit much.
Cleve still +700 just to make the playoffs though, at Draftkings. Thanks to you, I took some at +2000 on that, +10000 division, +30000 to win east, +100000 to win title.Comment -

If you've seen this team play, you would be hyped as well. This team is old school. I really haven't seen another team that plays like them. I remember when I first really looked at the Warriors. Something was just different about them than other teams.Last edited by Mac4Lyfe; 12-01-21, 11:52 PM.Comment
