Not a single big contract for a running back has worked out in the NFL in the last 10 years. Gurley, Elliot, Mccafferey, all their contracts have been failures.

It is very easy to draft running backs that can contribute right away and most running backs with a high usage rate see a significant decline in their level of play after 4-5 years.

Yep…in today’s world, after 26 RB’s are considered old. Teams would be dumb to pay these guys big contracts going forward.

Allsnot was decent but a full back mostly and not a full time running back if I remember correctly?
