COLD dsent affect teams BUT cold and high winds like 10 MPH can realy wreak havoc on passing game and FG kicks
and Packers field is heated now so players aint on ice anymore
Vikings have to be in a dome no way could they play outdoors -20 degrees
Seattle used to have Dome because of weather conditions rain sleet n snow in same day

Given today's technology, cold isn't a factor unless it's around single digits or less; wind obviously can have a huge effect.

12 QBs play this week:
Mahomes best in cold weather.
Brady best in postseason games with double digit winds

Cold = No factor
Wind = Yes!
Cold in Buffalo but light winds, that's why the total is steady at 44

10mph isn't considered "high winds" lol... That's practically average.
And cold does affect teams when you're talking arctic conditions like what's forecasted for Buffalo, to say otherwise is nonsense. At that point, even the slightest breeze makes air temps feel exponentially colder.

Good point. Was 8 degrees other night here no wind went on walk. Went on walk next night about 28 degrees but very windy. I was colder or about the same as the 8 degree night. The wind can make a huge impact. Not sure about <10 though.

From a "regardless of who is playing" point of view, the only weather that matters is the Buccs Eagles because of the 20-30 mph winds projected. That is a big deal.
Otherwise, the only other team that can be affected by just "weather" or "cold" is the Raiders, who haven't really played in it and aren't that seasoned in it, or the playoffs, for that matter. What makes it interesting is neither are the Bengals (experience). That's a fairly boring matchup that will actually be a pretty interesting game.

Yes, what's your prediction? You didn't add much but a cheer (I think) for Carr.

Burrows to me has a full squad.... especially a pretty good defense. They can do screen passes every down and beat the Raiders. Raiders secondary sucks.... there's gaps everywhere in the Raiders defense. Raiders have one good pass rusher. They beat a sh#$$ Chargers defensive team. Raiders almost blew the game at the end. Give me cincy all day SU.

Extreme cold does impact teams, normal cold usually does not. Extreme cold keeps teams from throwing deep and kicking long field goals because of how thick the cold air becomes, it holds up the ball up.

Agree, it's almost impossible to throw deep in subzero temperatures because of how thick the air is, the ball just hangs in the air.
