Why take an half an hour to back your post up if it's only to get spammed and trolled.
Guys like Benny back in the day, they lived to troll.Comment -

Getting write ups with knowledge on a certain subject is huge for this place. Your vast following of MLB amongst other sports speaks for itself and has to drive traffic.
Hopefully, this gets the attention it deserves.Comment -
#117Well Nasher, if SBR does not recognize what you just posted about not doing write ups and why, and immediately take the appropriate action, they are missing the boat.

Fine, so be it, I won't quit, but I just won't do it anymore.
Plus it actually worked out well, my write ups can be found on my blog the past three years, and I've got a pretty good readership these days
I can't link it, and who I freelance write for here.
I've had several talks with SBR authorities as to what and what I can not self promote.
All good though.Comment -
#118While I'm here, this is what I would hope gets some attention.
No particular order.
1. Trolls
2. Put politics where it belongs and delete posts that politically sidetrack an otherwise decent thread.
3. Classic odds from offshore as well as the USA outlets. I realize that Pinny might be out of play. Hopefully not but other big name books are not. Knowledge is power and players appreciate more. This will gain traffic IMO.
4. Open the store , even if it is limited in the beginning. You have to offer this SBR faithful something. As of now, the silence is deafening.
5. When the sportsbook reopens, please offer as much as possible. Players want to wager on tennis, golf, etc. and many other sports and not just the NFL or mainstream sports. Offer more options and more traffic will show up.
6. Better overall correspondence with those of us that have supported this site for years. LT, Shari, Opti and Spider are holding this place together. I do not know what they are paid but raises are definitely in order. And if not long term, at least a nice bonus to repay them for all they have done for this current ownership. Without them, this place would most likely be dead by now I am sad to say.
Happy to add more, but those are off the top of my head.
Thank you for your time.Comment -

#123I’m on my phone and barely awake so forgive me for any typos here but wanted to share what I know as honestly as I can because you all have brought up great concerns.
When ownership changed hands there wasn’t even a full team in place to facilitate that change let alone techs, etc. Just those of us you know, a couple of management people who knew very little about this place and that was basically it. The main person I talk to is part time as he deals with other businesses in the company but he is actually really forthright and acknowledges what’s going on and is honest about how long certain things are going to take.
I’m not a techie so don’t directly quote me on this but when the sale happened the server stayed in CR when no one else other than one person I’m aware of working here now is not in CR. So the majority of these tech issues have involved transferring the server from CR to their base. Why this wasn’t done in advance I have no clue but I hope there was some sort of thought process behind it.
The store- it’s coming back but keep in mind that after Sam sadly passed, things started changing back then. It is coming back though so don’t blow all your points if you’re going to want to spend them.
Poker I didn’t really receive much clarity on during my last conversation with mgmt so I can’t really say much to that yet.
Like I said they’re building the tech team and so with that I expect we may see errors from time to time as they transfer everything. What any of that means I don’t know as I’ve never had to pay much attention to it. But after the sale other than very limited help from a couple of former sbr employees for a short period of time there was no one here but us. And I sure as hell can’t transfer a server (although I suspect I may have learned from YouTube and then been a bit quicker than this)
That’s all I can tell you - I have notes at home from my last conversation with management so when I’m back there if there’s anything important I’ve left out I’ll let you know. But rest assured they didn’t buy it to dump this site and staff are being paid as normal which is a good sign even when they can’t log in for hours and days.
Thank you to those of you who continue to be patient. It’s a crappy ass process but I’m still confident we’ll get thereLast edited by shari91; 02-23-22, 03:30 PM.Comment -

#127No clue. I don’t even know if the entire brand was sold or just parts of it or what. And honestly I don’t care. None of my business… I’m more concerned with everyone here having the best experience they can as possible without scammers, trolls and touts. Anything else the people being paid the big bucks can worry aboutComment -

#135How many of these type of threads will SBR pin and think something will happen. I'll let Jim Cornette let you know what's happening...
