Naldo snapped.

Bad timing is how I see it. Naldo was in that moment feeling out his injury for the first time after getting up from the bench and right before the kid he realises that the injury is bad. Notice naldo shaking his head to his teammate. Which is also bad timing from the teammate, to ask about the injury.

If teammate asks later it would have been a kicked or thrown water bottle in the locker room instead.. but now it was a phone which gets shoved up in his face all time. A few seconds could have made a difference...Seconds for naldo to process that dark feeling about the state of his injury.

It was selfish and he had no justification. A man of his stature should have more control, however knowing him in the sense of how obsessed he is about being the best, he's probably struggling with how these are the downhill days of his career.
