Been looking into these players as they are named throughout the game. Many of them have some NFL experience but were undrafted.

This is a shady rule, the could result in a quite a different jspot of the ball...

Defensive pass interference will be penalized similar to college football (15-yard penalty or spot foul if within 15 yards of the line of scrimmage), but if it is determined the defensive player intentionally interfered with the receiver the penalty will be a spot foul similar to the NFL rule.

USFL Opening Kickoff


Spring football is here, and the USFL kicks off their season tonight at 7:30 pm ET on Fox and NBC.


Bettors so far are liking the two teams with proven NFL level head coaches. Current futures have the Michigan Panthers coached by Jeff Fisher as the favorite with +375 odds. The Todd Haley led Tampa Bay Bandits are another popular pick at +500 odds.

Michigan -3 and Tampa Bay -5.5 (Pitts coach comes across as an idiot) look decent but need to research more on those teams. Don't know anything on Philly v. Orleans -2.5 game. Might be the one for dog to win.

I’ll take effort over talent! last night wasn’t bad considering the teams were just made a couple weeks ago- guys were playing hard getting hit hard and there wasn’t a penalty every play- nfl has become unwatchable with penalties guys not going all out and getting fines and suspended if you hit somebody -

Michigan is bringing in the Big Ten. QB Shae Patterson from Michigan is the starter and both RBs are from Big Ten. HC Fisher fizzled out as NFL and it’s been awhile since he coached.

Houston has HC Sumlin who coached at Texas A&M and was horrible at Arizona. Taking Panthers -3.

Kind of sucks having a Pittsburgh maulers team and I would have to go Alabama to watch them lol. I thought it was trash myself, but I would go to a game if they were here and it was reasonably priced. I thought I saw 10 bucks and kids free in Alabama.

Yes the First half was brutal.It improved a little better in the second half.It is football lets not compare it to the nfl nothing is like the Nfl, it is much different.110 to win 100 pays the same thing if you had the La Rams or Michigan Panthers.I love Spring Football would rather watch it over the Nba Playoffs at least.Wish i didnt play all the Unders i listened too much to the pundits about how low scoring the other spring league's were and i was cheering against my self.Todays game could be lower scoring but being a square i hate playing unders especially in games i watch but did it anyway. Came back with a few plays today for fun.
