Updated Forum Guidelines

Hello SBR Members,

Just a heads up that a few updates have been made to the forum guidelines and can be found on the FAQ page.

The main takeaways are the retirement of the Service Plays forum and a firmer stance against offensive/inappropriate posts. These will not be tolerated going forward and infractions/bans will be issued if necessary to enforce the guidelines.

Let's all do our part to make this a betting community we are proud to be a part of.

Many of the people left would like a firm date on when the Store will reopen and when there will be poker here again. We have been very patient with you but there has to be some transparency on your part. Vague statements every few months with no action following them is not a model for success. Could you please lay out your specific timetable and specifically what SBR is going to look like.

As a representative for the SBR posters, I think I can say that we are reasonable. We don't ask for the world. We'd just like to feel like our Points have SOME value.

Even if inflations diminishes 50% of their value, that would still leave 50% remaining. And I can say that the Poker room was fun, just to relax and bullshit with your buddies.

I definitely agree - our loyal SBR members have been very patient during this transition and it doesn't go unnoticed. I am here to provide as much transparency as possible during this process. While I am unable to pinpoint a firm date for store re-opening, as I mentioned in my reply to Chucky, we are getting closer to a finalized plan there. Once that is ready for roll-out, we will layout a timetable of what to expect.

Issues with sportsbook deposits and withdrawals are welcomed to be discussed. That part more touches on explicitly posting your banking/financial details.

As for betpoints, yes they will have a tangible value. Ways to earn & redeem will be clearly laid out once the long-term plan is finalized.

Here is the issue. Sometimes things get heated on the forum and clothes can come flying off. Sexual innuendos can start flying such as all in's, jackhammering plays, polish middles etc and this makes things difficult to moderate. I hope politics doesn't transcend the forum and we start calling each other pronouns and the like. People have a passion and the forum needs to be rational about handing out yellow and red cards or else this place will morph into a prison. Plays will start being discussed using dugout signals while in the lunch line and everyone will be paranoid of the watchtower's all seeing eye. Some may already be making shanks as we speak to carve out a tunnel in case things go bad.

Having said that, I have faith that the forum is going to be even better than before. Adjustment period is frustrating but I hope the regulars stick with it and enjoy what SBR has in store.
