I wonder if she thinks that really...

What she really needs to focus in is Fanduel paying winners and not banishing them so they do not need to look elsewhere.
I like the thought but IMO Fanduel is one of the few that allow winners to continue to play with reasonable limits. You might be thinking of Draftkings, MGM, Barstool, Rivers, etc.

I do wonder where the 25% comes from. Could be true if including some of the more fly-by-night offshore operations. Obviously not true if you stick to the better known names.

Right wing Republicans did not have a monopoly on this. 1998 was Clinton Admin, Peter Dicks Sportingbet was a Dem Louisiana Gov, Beshear was a KY Democrat. And corporate lobbyists have always BEEn in the mix. Think Sheldon Adelson.

        25% is ridiculous.

Would be more like 0.025% of withdraws not honored I would guess.

I never said Republican or Democrat. I said the pressure was from right-wing religious groups, because it was. They influence some dems too.

They just make a whole lot of noise but in the whole scheme of things I can't think of a single instant where right-wing religious groups have been relevant when it comes to trying to stop internet gambling. More bark than bite.

Pretty sure if you get hit with a sports betting one the only offset allowed is from that same betting session.

Or do you know better than me how it works?
Nope, for sports you could win a billion dollars and not get 1 1099 or you could hit a parlay at 380-1 betting $1 and make $380 and get a form based off the odds. Many people were confused over FanDuel/DK saying you get a 1099 for $600 because that’s what they do for the fantasy aspect of their websites.
