Maybe at the beginning of the season... maybe
With the insane inflation and shortages some people will need to choose between eating and pissing money away on sportsball bets

You mean you are going to spend the entirety of the NFL regular and post season complaining about USA books instead of just being a man and playing offfshore if USA is that bad?

How many problems in California? Many cities near LA filled with homeless people.
Maybe they just think legalized CA gambling leads to even more degeneracy.

Pretty sure you can't bet on any home state team.
I can't bet on Yale, or Fairfield, or UConn anywhere being my account's home base so to speak is in Connecticut.
I know in NY you can't bet St. John's, and Syracuse etc, anywhere if your account is located in NY.
And so on

It's a battle between the tribes and Fandual/Draftkings. Nothing to do with all the hobos although they will tell you they are going to use the taxes to fund homeless initiatives.
I hope neither passes. We need full blown Vefas style sports betting in CA. I want to bet at a kiosk in Sofi or live bet on my phone.

In Connecticut everything has to be approved by the tribes, I swear it's like at times they have more power than the state politicians.
I don't mind, the tribes give you a fair blackjack and poker game.
They don't pull that 6:5 blackjack trick here.

Arnold gave them all the power for gaming in the State when he was Governor. It was a bit short sighted but at the time seemed like a decent deal for everyone.
Now that the Vegas monopoly on sports betting is over, the tribes maintain that they should control that aspect of gambling.
Of course the horse tracks and card clubs have been left out of all of this which doesn't exactly seem fair either.
And then you have the leftists here who just can't wait to get their grubby little hands on that sweet sweet gambling money to fund their giveaways and pork.
Anyways just one man's rant lol.

This year will be a bloodbath. Many will lose everything they have. I can see this NFL and College year will be very turbulent , no consistency and players drowning.

Nevada used to have that rule. Think it might have been lifted......
