#44how do they justify adding the 000?
i am sure though there are 38 spots now they still are paying 35-1Comment -
#45Jerky thought he found something that 40,000 people have tried and went brokeComment -
#46Been playing this way for years & I’m even/plus with it. 8 bet progression 1,3,7,15,32,65,132,265 or add a zero if you have a 5k bankroll. Start by playing previous winning color up to 4 times. When the colors chop 4 times you play the chop until it ends. If chop ends on 4 you go back to playing the winning color. It’s a simple system & I’m on a lucky run with it. I’m basically playing to avoid a specific pattern & that is all.Comment -

#48Lost me after “roll-ette”…
bol tho w/the systemComment -
#49I just want to clarify there is NO system that can out last an even minus expectation. Any profits I may have gained are all but gone now. I’m pretty much at break even give or take a couple hundred either way. I am done trying to beat this game lol.Comment -
#50My favorite roulette bet is a system play that I came up with that I call "the zero strategy"
I probably didn't invent this as other players have probably done this before, but I came up with this one night without looking anything up on the internet and it's always my go to play if I ever want some high variance action playing roulette.
*assuming we are playing on an American roulette wheel" also playing live, in a casino, would not recommend doing this online.
1 unit = $100
*note: just an example, you can use whatever unit size you want*
2 units on 1st 12 (#1-12)
2 units on 2nd 12 (#13-24)
1 unit on zero and double zero (#0/00)
We have a 63.15% chance of winning 1 unit if the ball lands on numbers 1 to 24. (24 divided by 38)
We have a 5.26% chance of hitting a 17-1 payout if the ball lands on either of the zeros which is our goal. (2 divided by 38)
So obviously there is no guaranteed way to win at roulette of course, but this is my favorite bet because you get to still go for the (17-1) $1700 payout hit if the ball lands on 0 or 00 while still being hedged in a way where you still make $100 if the ball lands between #1-24. The only way you lose is if the ball lands on 3rd 12. (#25-36)
What I like about this play also is that some older wheels might have the propensity to hit zeros more often because usually the house likes it when the zeros hit because in general no one usually bets the zeros and there are usually loud groans of displeasure when the zeros hit, haha. But in our case, if the zeros hit, we win big.
You do have to bet 5 units a spin which is a lot, but no system is perfect of course and each have their pros and cons. I would rather just embrace variance and be more aggressive and less risk-averse and go for it when playing a high variance game like roulette because if we are on the positive side of high variance then we will profit a lot. We are gambling after all.
You can even just play this system bet one time while walking by the roulette table and let's say it hits 24 and you win $100. You can just walk away and have a free steak dinner on the house. And if it lands on double 00, well... now we're talking. Bust out the liquor and cigars and have some fun.Last edited by Josherzz1; 07-03-23, 04:49 AM.Comment -

But I am also thinking your expected return from $500 a spin is $221. 44.2% might be a bit low when the biggest upside win is only worth 3.25 risk size..Comment -
#52Can't win on Roulette. The two green slots ruin everyone trying a system of play.
If you want to gamble and take shot though always bet on black and spin that focker! You win and then you leave after loading up. Walk away smiling..Comment -

I came up with this theory in my 20's since I went to UNLV for my college days and my friends and I would spend countless hours thinking about casino game strategies while we were in the dorms, lol. We would then experiment at the Hard Rock Hotel which was just walking distance from our dorm rooms. Those were such fun times. We all knew how to count cards in blackjack, play poker, etc, it was a lot of fun. They had 8 deck shoes in blackjack. Their poker room was really nice but no one really played there. I played in one daily tournament there. There was only 8 people who showed up, $50 buy-in. 2 places paid, $210 for 1st and $140 for 2nd. I won it by completely sucking out on a guy when we were heads-up who had KK and I hit a gut shot straight draw on the river and he called my all-on shove, lol. I said sorry man and he looked at me and smiled (he was wearing a cowboy hat with sunglasses on) and said, nah no need to be sorry, you had a nice hand, good game. Sorry, I'm getting all nostalgic here, hehehe, sorry for ranting.
By the way, not sure if this is still in existence because the restaurant and the deal may not even exist anymore, but at the restaurant there (it was called Lucky's Cafe I believe) at the Hard Rock Hotel, ask for the 777 special. During my UNLV days, if you asked for the 777 special you got this badass surf and turf meal that was probably like a $40 meal for only $7.77. Only the locals knew about it and it was a secret menu item. My friends and I ate that all the time because it was so cheap and an awesome meal. You got a nice cut of steak, grilled shrimp scampi on skewers, a baked potato and a caesar salad for an appetizer for 7 bucks! It was unreal, lol. Check that out next time if you are around the Hard Rock if you end up going to the WSOP 2024 mixer that you might be planning. Not sure if it's still there though but worth checking out.Comment -

Have a bankroll ... call it $5000 (willing to lose - yes that would be a complete disaster, but if things are go average, the whole bankroll won't be in serious jeopardy)
SPIN ONE: put 50 on black ...
WIN BET: collect 50 & keep 50 on black and repeat SPIN ONE
LOSE BET: put 100 on black for SPIN TWO
SPIN TWO: 100 on black
WIN BET: collect 100 & repeat SPIN ONE (back to 50)
LOSE BET: put 200 on black for SPIN THREE
SPIN THREE: 200 on black - win go back to SPIN ONE
SPIN FOUR: 400 on black - win go back to SPIN ONE
SPIN FIVE: 800 on black - win go back to SPIN ONE
SPIN SIX: 1600 on black - win go back to SPIN ONE
-
So if you go 0-6 fishing for black, you're out your bankroll. If you go 2 hours or so and that doesn't happen, you net maybe 1 or 2 thousand.
This strategy is not particularly original, but I don't know if it has a name or if anyone here has tried it already.
I think if you tried it 5 nights in a row, you'll get burned - but I think if you commit to it for one night (with a fixed time window, not 6pm to 6am - you will get burned) you can grind some real dough.Comment -
#55^ The double up theory. Can work. Should work but you can lose 4 in row and hit a green and still get ruined on the fifth spin.
It's like flipping a coin (heads or tails) but with a coin you bypass the 2 green slots. I'd rather flip a coin then play RED and BLACK on roulette obviously.Comment -

#57I have a new system for shit’s, fun & giggles, maybe I’ll make a new video on how you play it.Comment -

#65Yes, roulette cannot be beat, lol. That is just how I would play it personally. I would just ride the wave of variance and take my shot. It could easily just hit number 25 and you could lose, lol. But your bets also cover 68.42% of the board which is nice. And unlike red/black or odd/even, at least you have an upside chance at one of the big payout hits instead of being only guaranteed a 1/1 payout every time. I have personally seen the ball land on 1 to 24 like ten times in a row and then the zero would hit. I remembered specifically walking through Bally's in Las Vegas in 2010 and seeing a roulette wheel history where 0 or 00 hit 7 times out of the last 15 spins, and I thought to myself, wow, the zero strategy would crush that wheel. But yeah, not profitable long term. It could be awesome though short term for just a few spins if you have a lucky burst of good fortune. I suppose you could even lower the 1st 12 and 2nd 12 bets to 1.5 units or even 1.25 units so you lose less if it hits #25-36 but still win a little bit if it hits #1-24.

I would close down center/circle bar 2X a week and it never closed! This was 2001 my first time there through 2012 when it started to lose some of its luster. It’s all changed. UNLV has also grown quite a bit, as you know. Hard Rock has been rebranded as Virgin Hotels with a few remnants of the old Hard Rock but not the same. Yes, the restaurant was called Lucky’s. What a great place.Comment -

#70Oh lawd I didn’t realize rune got rurned! I tried to tell that guy all his system does is stave off the inevitable, but it’s very hard to tell someone they’re doing the wrong thing when they’re winning. Or, it’s hard for them to listen I guess is more like itComment
