It doesn't matter if he has 700 or 699. His legend is written in stone. I'm glad he's contributing to the success of the team now so it shows his signing was beneficial for both he and the team. Don't come back next year and potentially look like a guy who just can't give it up like Babe Ruth and Steve Carlton did.

He has 9 games left against the pirates, including 6 to end the season. Miles ahead in the division. I’m hoping it comes down to him at 699 with 3 left at Pittsburgh. I will go to those games.

MGM had Pujols 700+ (-350) today

Def no value there. I'm not worried yet, but I was really hoping he'd get 2-3 bombs vs my shitty Reds in that 5 game series. Only 1 hit in the whole f series, but atleast it was a bomb. 0-2 tonight and 12 more games to go.
If I was setting a line I'd make it like (-275). After the SD series he gets 3 lefties in LA. He kills lefties! Then 2 in Milw (Lauer I think, another lefty) then 6 vs Pittsburgh. He kills the Pirates so might be able to get 3 against them alone, but I'd really feel better if he got 1 in LA!

Oh by the way! I'll be fading St. Louis hard in the NL Playoffs. Probably the 1st round, but def the 2nd if they advance.

No ace and most of their lineup can't do shit. Goldschmidt and Arenado can only do so much. They look tired too, but maybe they'll clinch and rest some guys. I still don't like them compared to all these teams with 2 aces!

His last 100 homers were right down the middle. He is the poster boy for being washed up. If we could gather about a billion dollars to bet he hits the 700 mark he will strike out the rest of his at bats (like he should be now)and the books will win again.

BS. He hit like 4 game winners in the past month alone. He hit a pinch-hit HR in a 1-0 game not long ago. Yeah they're feeding him a cookie in a 0-0 game.
