He has a an edge, no doubt, but I think he's looking in his rear view mirror and seeing Xander coming. I think Sheff will go conservative tomorrow and shoot for middle of greens and see if he can get the chasers to make fatal mistakes shooting at sticks. If they catch him, then Sunday is going to be a knock down drag out for 18 holes. Everyone will be shooting at the sticks for the 18 million bucks.
I get a feeling Scottie will have a comfortable lead going into Sunday. The field is sort of forced into going after pins tomorrow.
He did not have a good day. One thing to note on him, he is very schedule oriented. If something is off, like the weather delay today, he normally doesn't play well.
My bad, I didn't expect the delay. Sure enough, he left strokes out there left and right, literally.
Scheffler came out a different golfer this morning. Xander missed all of his putts. Amazing what a delay will do. Scottie was searching before they called it yesterday. He went back to his teacher and got fixed overnight. 5 stroke lead and it's all over.
