Could be worse, he could be in Cuba where that island is completely in the dark, 100 percent without power.

DeSantis requested funding from Biden for hurricane disaster relief. He's an active Governor and on the news speaking constantly about this disaster and helping the people. I believe he's doing all he can do!

He's runner up to Trump. I like him. Straight up no nonsense dude.

In South Carolina by the coast, tried to start the generator after fishing this afternoon. It wouldn’t start so get to tinker with it before the storm gets here.

You would think people are smart enough to drive their cars to safer places rather than letting the hurricane destroy their cars.

My Cousin in Tampa told me him and his neighbors are out of power now. Guess what he was prepared and bought one of those big Generac house generators. Next thing he knows he has one neighbor across the street come knocking on his door wanting to hook up extension cords to run his fans and lighting.

My Cuzz said no because he didn't want to over tax his generator or short out the system with extension cords submerged in water and blow it. Neighbors jealous now. So much for being a good neighbor I guess? I don't know how to think about this?

Even if the generator works under water it will be hard to use power in your house when the outlets are under water.

Kraken/Pavy - Can be mounted on the roof with rain and sun covers. Direct line into house with circuit breakers if water interferes.

My cousin in Tampa is an X FBI agent that is retired. He's serious about his own family comfort and survival. He's a little nuts to be honest. Hey but he's the only one on his block with full power in his house. I can't knock that, he came prepared!

My Cousins house isn't under water though.. The power went fully out in his neighborhood, his cell phone service was cut out also for a few hours.

Just giving people the heads up.... it's not technically "plug and play".... you need to do maintenance work on these generator devices... and if the tech needs to come out... they charge an arm and a leg. People just don't think when making major purchases like this. Half the sh## we think is going to benefit our lives... actually causes more financial ruin... and not even worth your time.

More on powerless survival. Watch and learn people it's only 5 minutes out of your life.

Room heating and low lighting energy free and off the grid! I love this video and it works and is proven.

You will get low candle lighting and heat in your room at the same time. Just need a few different sized terricotta pots to fit inside each other and a cheap bundle of tea candles. Just that simple. Great if you live in a cold climate or your van in a pinch.

There are many other youtube videos on this if you are still curious.. Can use bricks as a leveler with the pots and not a cup cake pan like in this vid below.

Many Trailer parks got trashed. Seeing that on the news now. I'm sure alot of meth labs got destroyed.
