Went on a good run against some locals up in Tahoe some time back. Had erveryone's money at the poker table.

They were patient, watched me toss back vodka after vodka on the rocks and slowly took all their money back and then a bunch of mine too.

When I got up, and the room spun, I knew what I did.

She just kept them coming.

Yeah poker is a different story when I'm drinking. Tend to play better when I'm buzzing good, even hammered. But there is a Breaking Point when you know when to walk away LOL

Although my drinking has slowed down I remember one day about 4 years ago when I drank a full 1.5 liter of Seagrams 7 over a 10 hour period. I had started to get the hiccups and couldn’t stop. Hiccups continued for three hours until someone advised me to put a paper bag over my head and keep breathing. Apparently the CO2 you breathe in stops the spasm of hiccups. It really works!

Just drove by the BLUE OX TAVARN at 11am awhile ago and sizing up the cars in the parking lot, it had to be close to standing room only.

Good work bold. I figured I should take September off after quenching my thirst too much this summer. Felt so good after September I don't think I will be drinking for a looong time. Too old for that shit.

Drove by Crawdads about an hour ago. Parking lot full of contractor trucks. The boys are getting primed up before they have to go home and deal with the wife and kids all weekend.
