Do people realize how bad Justin Fields is?

Yeah Brock Fields looks like a back up in this league at best. Another Mitch drafted by CHI Town. But the jury still out. Ain't looking promising though.

Too early to proclaim that. He still has the tools to be good. We'll see. Statistically this season, he has the least amount of time to throw and his receivers have achieved the least separation in the league. Not a great formula for young QB success.

In terms of starts, Fields is still a rookie. Take a look at Lamar's rookie season. In 16 starts, he averaged 6/11 for 75 yards.

At least Jackson could run. Look at Herbert, THAT is what you want to see a young QB do in his 2nd year. Fields is light years from that

Fields can run too, though they don't want him to run too much for fear he'll get hurt.
As a rookie, Lamar ran for 695 in 16 games. In 16 games (15 starts), Justin has 567.

Point is that this can be the progression for a young athletic QB. Difference is Balt always had protection and weapons around Lamar. Fields needs more hep stat.

Bad comparison though. Herbert is the prototypical pocket step back passer and the Chargers had weapons all over the field when he got in.

Not many are consistent.

The Vikes play quite a bit better at home. That being said, Hell would have to freeze over before I would lay 340 on those guys and I am a life long fan from day 1

Fields was not bad at all today. He does special things. He's young and learning. Give him a chance. The jury is still out. He can still be special, especially if the Bears can ever get him some help.

He definitely is. He is figuring it out. He is a massive talent.
