Never said it was a crime. However, stupid speech and actions make people lose jobs everyday. Why should Kyrie be any different? Because he can play ball and has fans, etc.
A job is not a right, it's a privilege. If you own your own business, then you can do and say what you like and deal with the repercussions. If you're an employee, not so much. Comes with the paycheck.
Kyrie is an idiot. Most people in society are idiots. Ethnicity is irrelevant. Everyone is actually an idiot outside their area of expertise. You can be a genius at picking games but an idiot at managing money. It's not an insult. Kyrie's problem is that he doesn't realize that just because he is a genius on the basketball court that doesn't automatically make him smart in other areas of life. That includes coaching basketball (which he also disrespected). Based on how he sees it, he doesn't need a Phil Jackson, Gregg Popovich, or Bill Belichick type as coach. Even if the results have proved otherwise.
Here's the difference between you, me, anyone on this forum, and a person like Kyrie. No one in society cares what you, I, or anyone on this forum thinks. Our posts are irrelevant. No one gives a damn about your opinion. Neither mine. In a way, that is a blessing to us. lol
For Kyrie, he's a celebrity. The rules are very different. He's paid millions of dollars because he has a unique skill set and he also has Influence. With influence comes power. With power comes responsibility.
