    NYM overpaid some.
    They had no choice.

JV made every start for five consecutive seasons up until 2020.
If he's fully recovered from that calf injury he'll and the Mets will be fine.
Like I said, before then he was as durable as they come, he'll be 40 soon though.

43 million a year for two years is way too much, I don't think any other team would have gone much more than 30.

cant blame the guy for collecting at the annual mlb "silly season spending spree". upton has to be one high maintenance bill on his daily/weekly/monthly slate

Kate's still a hard body and all, but I'm pretty sure her vag has a little, how shall we say, elasticity to it.

Speaking as a former NCAA D-2 catcher I think I'm qualitied to say starting MLB pitcher don't just work once every five days for six innings. The better one's workout regimen between starts is grueling.

They lift in the gym for hours, they run and run on off days, on the second day of their last start they throw on the side.
Starting pitchers work hard between starts behind the scenes.

Roger Clemens, love him or hate him, call him a cheater (which he probably was) whatever, but his workout regimen was like the likes of a triathlon athlete.

Not for nothing, I'd bang Kate all day, every day.

                    Yeah.

I dislike Showalter but he does know how to handle his personnel, yeah, he should be OK.
Like I said, his injury was calf related, not throwing arm, and word is he's healed from surgery which dealt with tendons/muscles.

The Mets 2023 payroll will be at least 66% of Bruce Sherman’s (Marlins owner) ENTIRE net worth. MLB allowed both of them to buy a team with a 24 month period. They should be ashamed of themselves.
