Kenneth Walker, Garrett Wilson, and Dameon Pierce all say hello.

A lot of QB rookies making their debut do well their first couple of weeks and then the league catches up to them and poof, they ain't so hot any longer.

Brock Purdy is what he is, a nice surprise, a temporary stop gap measure and is not and never will be the long term QB answer for the 49'ers.

I wanna see him play on the road and in the cold still. He plays well in that scenario then I will start to become a believer. Like I said I need to see more from this kid.

That, and that only is what I am saying.

Who knows, maybe we have the next Joe Montana here, or maybe we have the next Trevor Siemian or Elvis Grbac here.

Right now Purdy's job is to learn the playbook, don't screw the plays up, and distribute the ball.
So far, so good, but you really don't know yet who he is, not after a couple of games anyways.
