Ya , Salinas is the lettuce capital of the U.S., there was already a shortage recently because of some bug, but now with this. Artichokes maybe not so big a big deal.

Yeah, we were getting slammed up here earlier.

Seem like everyone is pussified though. Because of the weather normal meetings, etc are being cancelled. That never used to happen.

It's a little warm out so yeah, the high water, wetter, once in a generation snow pack might melt in some of this rain.

The floods will be disastrous.

Jibbs it's not always viewed that way.

I know some who lost their homes, some of them during some of those Malibu mudslides, and they basically said it was all worth it for the 30 years, or however long, of the view they had.

I've heard it go both ways. I suppose it depends on the person and situation.

We got earthquakes, wild fires and floods now in California to go along with our homeless tented up problems on the streets. I won't even mention the high utility costs, high gas prices at the pumps, rising crime and super high State taxes.

It may wash the sh!t off but not the homeless problem.
Warm states get bums and burnouts. You can't live outside all year in Wyoming or Michigan.
The down and out go to the more hospitable places.

Rains are over for now. I will say Southern California looks green now, all plants and grass fully watered. That's a nice new site to see in some areas!
