Fun part with SBR was sportsbook, and yes most people in forum would probably agree it's mostly not about money (anyone can debate how much betpoints are worth) but it's entertaining to bet on NFL or NBA they even had bets on mma and bigger euro hoops in the past, also sportsbook is great for troubled gamblers they lose less with actual money.

For the life of me, I still can not figure out why the current ownership bought this forum?

They have literally screwed up every single thing they could.

Lost posters? Check!

Poor communication? Check!

Overpromise/Under deliver? Check!

Take away the things posters enjoyed? Check!

Fail to explain any possible improvements? Check!

Inaction leading to remaining posters not believing anything they do post? Check!

This should be a case study on how to take a product and completely screw it up.

I really doubt the new ownership knows how to use the PM function of SBR. But I can assure you once they find out how to use it they will remove it like they did with everything else that was working great here.

Yeah, I really miss the casino! Was such a fun way to kill time... And unlike at the real casino, if you got murdered, no big deal!
