Thanks to the shitty, corrupt World Cup we are now getting automatic 10 minutes of extra time every single game in all leagues. A soccer match is now at least 100 minutes.

Just waiting for the day offsides will also be scratched so more goals are scored.

I didn't see the game but not every game has ten minutes extra. Now if you think about it actual stoppage time in the past IMO was NEVER really played. The expectation was that 3-4 minutes was normal. If you count every second I think 5 minutes is probably a normal expectation in many matches.

They have added more subs as well right?

They did add more subs when Covid started. 2+ years ago. So that is definitely not the reason.

3-4 minutes is expected due to the subs coaches make or fouls etc. 5-6 minutes was expected when there was a red card shown or similar. This has been the case for the last decades. Even with VAR checks we didn't see 10 minutes of added time.

This 10 minute bullshit started at the World Cup. 5 minutes added at halftime and approx. 10 minutes at the end. Happened today in all major European leagues. Even when absolutely nothing happened 6-7 minutes are added. And this all started at the World Cup.
But given how many sports betting companies are official sponsors of many, many major clubs and leagues, this all shouldn't really be surprising.

If FIFA wants to attract viewers, especially the younger crowd, back to football/soccer, they need to get rid of giving points to draws. We have way too many shitty teams that completely destroy the game, only aim for a 0-0 draw and then hope to get a fluke penalty call. Change the rule that only a win gets you points and the sport completely changes for the better.

Good point but guess what?

Books need that draw option. That's what it will stay. Books put out soccer lines months in advance. They have such a HUGE edge on a game where no one scores much.

Unfortunately that's right. Tipico (large German sports betting company) is the official sponsor of Bayern Munich and the German Bundesliga. So, what else is there to say really?

Same for the Super League. Everyone freaked out how immoral it is etc and now we know it'll start 2025/2026 regardless.

PSV not winning really pissed me off. They should have scored 5+ goals, had 4-5x the chances but concede a ridiculous penalty in 90+9. As for the UFC bets, both were horse shit, no excuses. Imavov is an extreme disappointment, he sucks bad. Couldn't beat Strickland fighting on 1 week notice with nothing but his usual powerless bitch jabs. Oh well.
