yeah, and your thoughts on bill cosby are "against the grain" but so are a lot of things that are actually true... michael jackson never had anyone say bad things about him until he started bashing the jewish media, once you step out of line of the narrative or actually have some kind of independent thought then you're made into a bad guy (mel gibson, kyrie, kanye, etc)
look at how much the media is bashing robert f kennedy jr... his crime? calling out the big pharma cartel and their phony vaccines... he has been right the whole time and would make a great president that can't be controlled, that's why they hate him and killed his dad/uncle for the same reasonsComment -
The admiration for Crosby is quite saddening and astonishing. This contention that if someone has an independent thought means that person is right is a complete fallacy. Btw, the people who had independent thoughts on Crosby and who were against the public occurred years ago that involved Eddie Murphy and Hannibal Burress. In the late 80's, before the general public was against Crosby, Murphy said Crosby should have a coke and smile and shut the f-up. And Eddie received backlash from the media asking "what's wrong with Murphy?" Media refused to look into Crosby as he was the American Dad and Eddie was in the wrong. When the knowledge of Crosby's crimes were more public, but still not in the general public domain, the media refused to run with it. It was Hannibal who had the independent thought and "joked" about it that finally forced the media to bring it to the general public. Eddie and Murphy were the ones who had independent thoughts on Crosby.
First and foremost, before covid, Kyrie became an idiot for believing the earth is flat. That independent thought is completely wrong. I don't care about anything Kyrie has to say after that. It's like having a group of workers together to solve a math problem and Kyrie comes into the room and his first statement is that 1+1 = 3. I'm done and will tune him out. Same goes with Kanye. He lost me, not because of his stance against media, but his illogical ranting and raving and jumping up on stage pushing Taylor Swift to aside. Jackson and the media, I don't know anything about what he said about the media as I'm assuming this happened when he was "white" Jackson and living in Neverland (or whatever stupid name he called his place), and I stopped listening to him, if I ever did listen to him, after his strange behavior in attempting to look white. I had independent thought on Jackson and the media and public loved his "white ass" but I knew he was a crazy idiot that lied about having some stupid disease.Comment -

Kawhi is a quitter. Has been a quitter his whole career. Gets way too much credit. His career hasn't been all that. He should have never won that finals mvp on the spurs. That award belonged to Tony Parker, clear as day. People thought he contained James but James shit on him even in limited minutes due to blowouts. The rest of the Heat didn't come to play. They weren't ready to 3 peat.
And in Toronto, guy got lucky as hell. Only won a ring cause Durant tore his achilles, and Thompson tore his ACL. Both happened in that series. Leonard never deserved that second ring. He beat a team without it's best player and 3rd best player, and it took him 6 games to do it. Curry was out there playing with guys who aren't even in the nba today and almost took it to game 7.
Leonard's career has been truly overrated. Somehow the guy won 2 defensive player of the year awards. He's only played over 70 games twice in his career.

Ever since Leonard pulled that stunt with San Antonio... and basically walked out on the team... he will always be scrutinized. I'll never forget Popovich's look when a reporter asked... why isn't Leonard playing? The pissed off look he gave the reporter... Pop said... I don't know? Go ask his medical team. The look said it all.
After averaging 34 points or so the first 2 games... and to mysteriously not play... who's to say when the tear happened? Different grades of meniscus tears... some of which you can actually still play basketball and perform at a decent level. Could be a simple Grade 1 tear... oops! I'm not playing. Fu## my teammates! He plays it cautious all season. Why is it a surprise then that when he finally tries to go 100%....body fails. Body not used to it. Body doesn't expect it. It's like running 2 laps, then 1 day you tell your body it's time for 4 laps. Not even close.
