i'll never forget someone said if they did nothing the deficit would take care of itself.

stimulus this, stimulus that, spending bill here, there, stupid meetings here, dumb meetings over there, vaccine requirement, 24/7 arguing with each other, they do plenty.

if you bring up something and it's false, it is what it is. false. not my issue, but if you compare them to kawhi leonard, that's ridiculous. imo.

take it from an older guy. all this bickering that people do is a waste of time. i don't have time to waste. i'm done picking games cause i ended up even. i'll go series so i can have more time. cause i got way too much s to do.

re: kawhi, the subject of this thread.

i learned a long time ago, people speak 2 languages. what they say, and what they do. i used to be gullible, but i can always spot a liar.

let's look at what kawhi his medical staff coaches teammates the owner, what they all say. and let's then compare that to kawhi's actions (speaking to the press, negotiating salary and team, playing basketball).

imo there's a disconnect. and it's been going on for years and years. and i can smell that from a long ways away. and if anyone else can't, it doesn't surprise me. experience makes you wise.

That's incorrect. I didn't compare them nor anyone to Leonard. You posed a question or comment that there's no job where you can work only 50% of the time like the NBA and not get fired. I responded with congress which is actually correct. I didn't say the average congressman doesn't work a full day of work. But one can, and I'm sure someone has, not worked half the time and didn't get fire. Seriously, if George Santos just hanged out at a drag cabaret all day and night long, he can't get fired.

Congressmen have a team of interns that do a lot of the 'grunt work' for them.
                Like filing for instance.

I remember learning in one of my poli-sci courses there are close to 2000 interns in Congress alone.

i hear you i'm no fan of congress either. all they do is bicker. 100% voting one way, 100% voting the other way. that's joke material. but if kawhi leonard can think much at all, he's made progress. a lot of these players are idiots.

yeah you see guys getting elected, how much time do they spend on that. and greasing those who supported them.

and of course hot interns. gotta have that.

besides the hot subordinates, not my thing. just don't be president. if you're president, you actually have to get along with people. they just need to get along with 51% of the people, and they can throw the other 49% under the bus and be applauded for it.

i tore my acl, meniscus, i played. i've played hurt. 50%. until it got to 100%.

kawhi needs 2 weeks to make a decision on his meniscus tear. who needs a month to figure out what to do with an injury.

actions tell you everything you need to know.

sometimes it's not just what you do, it's what you don't do.

kawhi leonard's sister just got life for murdering an 84 year old. she was broke (kawhi makes $42 million a year). figured it was easy to take cash from an old woman. kawhi didn't mention it, never went to court to see his sister, nothing.

                          put the pieces together.

runs in the family. kawhi has $42 million and doesn't say a word about his sister going to prison for the rest of her life without parole, because she didn't have enough money and support.

tired of this guy. what he's adding to society, maybe you know. doesn't speak to the media. doesn't play. doesn't even talk to his teammates or his coaches. but you can be sure he'll be fine and healthy when it's time to collect his paycheck.

part of it is definitely the clippers fault. gm came out today in full support of kawhi leonard. you couldn't kiss his a any more than he did. and for what. maybe the only business where you pay a guy $42 million and he doesn't work for you, and you kiss his a.

let's get down to the dirty business of what stephen a said....

plenty of nba players, gms, coaches, teammates think kawhi leonard is a joke. the only difference is, stephen a can say it.

and i can tell by jj's reaction, he missed that.

put what kawhi leonard is doing against every other player who got an acl injury. have you ever seen a response like kawhi leonard, taking 2 years to come back?

put what kawhi does, doesn't speak to media, or if he does it's i don't listen to this that and every one of you are wrong. have you seen anyone else do that in the nba?

(most important) the Clippers are bleeding fans. losing $. new arena. they gotta make it like this guy kawhi is a legitimate player....UNTIL THEY GET RID OF HIM. which, they cannot because nobody wants him. they may be able to trade him for ben simmons, but i doubt the nets would do that.
                                                        2. if they want to get rid of him in the future....man, i've never SEEN a guy work so hard in my life!!
                                                        3. this guy OWNS the trades for kawhi and paul. enough said.
i'm fairly sure at 2am this guy is sick to his stomach, sweating and wondering how the h he picked this guy to be on his team.

So just getting back, ready to get on the floor. ... Like I said before, at the start of the season, it's going to be a long journey. ACL recovery isn't just one year. Everybody thinks that, but it's a two-year process, so I know that and I'm going to keep going and going through the process."

It was a rehab for me for eight months. Same kind of injury (as Kawhi), but mine was a hundred times worse. But the same kind of injury. You just stay positive."

Besides seems the guys that are bashed are always some of the hardest working players in the league d rose was another criticized. To think kawhi is sitting out the playoffs for nothing is rich. Like why would he do that.
