#41Leonard... such a stand up guy lol I simply can't believe the nonsense. That's awesome you're built like a truck... that's awesome you work hard in the off season... that's awesome you have an amazing talent. Nice work letting your teammates down. Totally deflates EVERYONE in that organization. Pure bum.
I never cared for Paul George.... because his entire career he "takes trips off down the floor" at times. And IMO Leonard said... hey... you let George off the hook?? Fu## it... I'm not playing either.
Complete disaster in LA at the moment.Comment -
#42Shot, Clips up 7 early. No action, but I'm rooting for them.
Clip bench players doing well. How can anyone respect these NBA players who just mail it in?Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -
#43Think his sister just got sentenced to life in prison.Comment -
#44Bunch of scrubs out there for the clippers…what a jokeComment -

#46Kimesha Williams, the sister of LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard, was one of two women sentenced to life without parole for the murder of an elderly woman in a Temecula, California, casino bathroom in 2019.
Williams and Candace Townsell were accused of following 84-year-old Afaf Assad into a bathroom at Pechanga Resort Casino on Aug. 31, breaking her skull and stealing her purse. Assad died a few days after the attack.
Williams and Townsell were found guilty of first-degree murder, robbery and elder abuse in February.
A relative of Leonard's confirmed in 2019 that Williams was his sister.Comment -

#48Kawhi is like the vaccine. When you always take the vaccine, wear masks all that protection, you get sick.
With kawhi and george the clip probably beat suns imoComment -

#51not sure why it took almost 4 years for our justice (ha!) system
2 black women killed an old white lady for $1000... wonder when espn, cnn, and kamala harris will call this a hate crime and say nobody should have to worry about the color of their skin (like she recently did when the guy pulling on the door was shot)Comment -
#52bAD news every day following the NBA. One chap stomps on another's chest, one hits somebody in the groin, one's sister kills a senior citizen for cash, one fan in Memphis beats another up in the stands. Some people don't know how to behave.Comment -
#53...and in the days that follow why do you have different rules for me, or why are those mean press reporting this?Comment -
#54bill cosby talked about all this. stop blaming the white guy. but that guy got demonized and sent to jail. cancel culture got to him. but the fat albert and cosby shows were great for kids.
nobody cares if a guy gets an engineering degree, but they do care if ja morant gets his next bucket. even after he brandshes a gun, they cheer and are in awe of the guy cause he can jump and throw an orange ball into a cylinder.
that's the way the world works. i just accept it. there's nothing i can do about it. and it's not gonna change soon. world is weird.Comment -
#55Very reliable sources, such as medical teams, all advised Leonard it's not wise to play, that his knee was pretty much shot. This injury is a new knee injury on top of old injuries, and he'd be putting not only his career, what's left of it in danger but complicating life for him after his playing days.
No need to link these reports, they are several out there.
I don't see how that's 'bailing' on his team.Comment -

He’s a rapist and it sounds like you just shrugged your shoulders and point to his Fat Albert cartoons as more important. If he was an engineer and serial rapist would you just point out the wonderful work he did as an engineer?Comment -
#57Clippers have always been cursed. Best 2 players out when they need them the most in the playoffs. Same old Clippers.
Things happen for a reason. Clippers will never win a championship or maybe never even make it to a finals in our life times. Funny thing is the owner is rich and spends to.Comment -
#58Wait, WTF!?! You’re referencing Bill Crosby? It wasn’t cancel culture, he drugged and raped women for many years, and he admitted to it. It’s the “not my problem “ culture that allowed him to continue doing it when everyone in the entertainment industry knew about it. And that’s the problem, the entertainment and sports industries that continue to act like they are someone special and should be treated differently. And yes, YOU can do something about it. Treat them like everyone else.

I don't see how that's 'bailing' on his team.
Michael Jordan had a 10% chance of his career ending and his team told him not to play. His response...so you're telling me there's a 90% chance of success
Yannis came back early to win a title was told he could end his career with reinjury. Same injury as george but it was actually worse-a more severe angle
I heard those reports. You tell the team no you're playing and you play at 50%. If you cannot continue you tried. Jmo.Comment -

#63on a serious note....i'm not gullable. i used to be.
1. kawhi leonard. game 4 lawrence frank comes out and says kawhi really wanted to play. next story, we hear he had swelling in the knee and it was the medical staff that prevented him from playing. now, why would they do that.
2. bill cosby. none of these charges happened back in the day. then when the guy is half blind and old, 40 years later or whatever, all of a sudden these women come out and he's automatically guilty
now, none of us were there to see the real story. but i don't just take what i'm told, and accept it, unless it rings correctly and from a reputable source. it might be right, it might be wrong, but i am not just taking the "story" out there.
anyways, that's my serious answer on a sports wagering forum.
more seriously..i gotta get outta here put wager on kings-dubs. pick coming up in about 90 minutesComment -

#65and the answer for the clippers could be...COULD...not saying it is..this is TERRIBLE for the Clippers organization.
Who wants to see 2 guys in George and Kawhi who refuse to play in the postseason, even though they could, because they're not 100% and not sure they won't get reinjured.
That looks bad for the President on down.
And that's also bad business.
They can't force either guy to play.
They do have a quote from the medical team that they would only release George "if he has no chance of reinjury". Which is basically never.
So it could be the medical staff.
but this is bad news for a franchise trying to get fans in LA. The said the get-in price for the Clippers game yesterday was about $53 and the get-in for the Lakers was $245.
This is serious business, what happened, and cost Ballmer a hella lot of money and prestige and reputation.
so these guys go all out to say it wasn't Kawhi, he wanted to play. cause having this guy who skipped last season, on the team for next season, while LeBron comes back early...well..you get the idea.Comment -

#67and as said..i had the suns yesterday. so glad they kept kawhi out.
put cotton balls ribbons and pink bows on his knee. may the guy get better, i feel for him.Comment -
