Kimesha Williams, the sister of LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard, was one of two women sentenced to life without parole for the murder of an elderly woman in a Temecula, California, casino bathroom in 2019.
Williams and Candace Townsell were accused of following 84-year-old Afaf Assad into a bathroom at Pechanga Resort Casino on Aug. 31, breaking her skull and stealing her purse. Assad died a few days after the attack.
Williams and Townsell were found guilty of first-degree murder, robbery and elder abuse in February.
A relative of Leonard's confirmed in 2019 that Williams was his sister.Comment -

bill cosby talked about all this. stop blaming the white guy. but that guy got demonized and sent to jail. cancel culture got to him. but the fat albert and cosby shows were great for kids.

Very reliable sources, such as medical teams, all advised Leonard it's not wise to play, that his knee was pretty much shot. This injury is a new knee injury on top of old injuries, and he'd be putting not only his career, what's left of it in danger but complicating life for him after his playing days.
No need to link these reports, they are several out there.

on a serious note....i'm not gullable. i used to be.
1. kawhi leonard. game 4 lawrence frank comes out and says kawhi really wanted to play. next story, we hear he had swelling in the knee and it was the medical staff that prevented him from playing. now, why would they do that.
2. bill cosby. none of these charges happened back in the day. then when the guy is half blind and old, 40 years later or whatever, all of a sudden these women come out and he's automatically guilty
now, none of us were there to see the real story. but i don't just take what i'm told, and accept it, unless it rings correctly and from a reputable source. it might be right, it might be wrong, but i am not just taking the "story" out there.
anyways, that's my serious answer on a sports wagering forum.

and the answer for the clippers could be...COULD...not saying it is..this is TERRIBLE for the Clippers organization.
Who wants to see 2 guys in George and Kawhi who refuse to play in the postseason, even though they could, because they're not 100% and not sure they won't get reinjured.
That looks bad for the President on down.
And that's also bad business.
They can't force either guy to play.
They do have a quote from the medical team that they would only release George "if he has no chance of reinjury". Which is basically never.
So it could be the medical staff.
but this is bad news for a franchise trying to get fans in LA. The said the get-in price for the Clippers game yesterday was about $53 and the get-in for the Lakers was $245.
This is serious business, what happened, and cost Ballmer a hella lot of money and prestige and reputation.
