Not my best day, but an interesting story and it did benefit me in the end.

I had a tenant of mine in a duplex I owned who was 2 months behind, this was years ago, around 2010 ish. I lived in the other side so he was also my neighbor and my buddy. We lived only 5 minutes from the local casino boat in Alton IL and I was bored and had a few bucks to spend, so asked him if he wanted to go kill a couple hours at the boat.

Him trying to be mindful and respectful said 'man I better not, I wanna get you caught up, not further behind with ya' which is exactly what I wanted to hear, so I threw him a hundo anyway, insisted and said 'hey man its just for fun, lets have a couple beers and just have a good night'. So we head down there and play some random table games, a little roulette, etc. We aren't having a very good go of it, I blow my hundo pretty fast, and he's kinda breaking even.

So when I'm tapped out and kind of ready to go, I sit down with him at the blackjack table and I'm like 'OK man, why don't you just focus for a few minutes and try to either double it all or lose it and lets head home.'

So with around $80 and playing only $5 hands of BJ, he pretty quickly drops down to his last $5 chip, I get my keys ready, lets get outta here.

He wins, of course. Then doubles it up, wins again. We laugh...

Doubles up again, wins. Doubles up again, blackjack. Doubles up again, blackjack. Doubles up again, wins...

He just goes on this massive heater for about another 30 minutes and he does lose a couple but wins at least every 2 hands to every 1 he loses for this stretch, I've never seen anything like it.

He gets up about $1,500 and we look at each other and he's wise enough to be like 'lets go, NOW.' and we do.

He gets me caught up and walks away with several hundred on top of it, and takes his family out to eat the next day.

Obviously, it was only $1,500 and I spend more than that on a single sports bet, but just the unlikely nature of it, him being down to his last chip and coming all that way back on a heater the likes of which I've rarely ever seen. It was awesome to be a part of it, and awesome to both help him out, and get my rent money caught up.

Back in the day off a UFC event. Hit everything from prop parlays and straight bets to everything else. Loaded up on that event for some reason and felt confident. Made BIG bank roll.. Don't remember when or what event. It's been years. I just remember making a lot of money that day and just saying to myself did I just do that? lol.

At the time, I was betting primarily 3-team parlays. I isolated the Jaguars +26 as the classic Don't Make Sense play at Denver.

Jags were in the tank. But I knew this was an insane line for a pro football game. If the Jags had any pride, if the Broncos overlooked their opponent, so many reasons to like it.

Posluzny's pick-6 late in the 1h got the Jags to within 14-13. That make the cover likely going into halftime.

For the life of me, I can't remember my primary 2nd game. Might have been Carolina +2.5 at MINN. Anyway, Jags +26 were my key play, they were on EVERY ticket.

If Carolina was the 2nd play, they were on MOST tickets. For the third leg, I selected a variety of sides/totals. 3-teamers paying 6/1.

I had several tickets. Jags hung the #, so the key play got home. Carolina won going away. More than 50% of the third legs covered.

Long story short. On that particular Sunday, my three teamers covered at a rate of > 60%. My haul was almost 4x, a quadrupling.

I was at the Bellagio years back . Not sure of the exact year. I was playing Black Jack when i noticed the entire room went dark. I am not sure how long i was out.

When i came to i was lying on a table with strange looking creatures all around me. I guess you would describe them as the "Greys" The one was looking at me. I was not in any pain but somehow as i was out they had removed several of my body parts. Several were holding my hands and feet. A couple in the back were tossing my penis back and forth. Then it started to get weird.

One telepathically said to me they had been watching me play Black Jack and wondered what made me so good. I told them i do not know i think it was what i had for breakfast. They then told me they wanted me to be their ruler and gave me a crown a cool gun and some lettuce.
