Yeah me neither but they are facing Nebraska in their home opener they should totally thrash them. A lot of talent on that team. If Nebraska plays TCU week one they lose 28-17 IMO.

Exactly, not saying Colorado doesn't have talent, they obviously do, but my take away from that first game vs TCU was they were surprised. Sure there was a ton of hype up but did anyone really think, especially TCU who just played in the playoff, that Colorado could even hold their jockstrap? The cat is out of the bag now and teams won't be surprised anymore. The fact that the line is 3 in a game where everyone is called for a Colorado route is very interesting. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if Whisky goes in there and wins a close low scoring grind out game. That is basically what this line is saying to me. Books will kill it if that happens.

My main concern and trepidation with taking Nebraska (+3) in this game (or any other for that matter) is QB Jeff Sims. He's a heaping pile of dogshit and utter garbage. I'm sick and tired of everyone saying how he has "potential" and is a gifted "athlete". Simply put, he's just a running back playing the quaterback position. His football acumen and IQ is right around 25 (borderline idiot level). He's a walking turnover machine always throwing INT's at the most inopportune times. He was the sole reason for last week's loss vs. the Golden Gophers with two very costly interceptions (one as they were deep in the red zone and getting ready to put a TD up on the board). Honestly, I don't why a good college coach like Matt Rhule even bothered recruiting him when there were plenty of other better options available. Looks like it's going to be another very long year for the Cornhuskers who are going to need to rely heavily on the Black shirts (Nebraska's defense) to keep them in most ball games.

Not a Deion lover or hater, but give him his due. Guy can recruit. Hired a pro level staff, stays out of the way and lets them do their job. That offense has talent and his kid is already a better qb/passer than anything Nebraska's had in years. Defense is soft but give him time. If anything, the games will be entertaining.

Regarding TCU, maybe they took them lightly but at what point do they realize they're in a fight? 300, 400, 500+ yards? They could have played with 12 men on defense, Sander's still would have shredded them.

Solid post, S&T...Basically what Sanders did at Colorado was the old adage "addition by subtraction"...He literally got rid of all the scrubs that were losing games last year and told basically told them "don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya"! Also read that those scrub players were nothing but a bunch of goddamn crybabies and self-entitled pricks who thought they didn't have to compete for their starting jobs anymore. Sanders put an abrupt end to that nonsense! (translation: He started to hold people accountable)...and not only did he bring an elite pro level assistants and coaching staff but also 4 and 5 star recruits and transfers from other power 5 schools.

We've seen this a million times where Team A looks awesome and wins a big game while Team B looks bad and loses a game and everyone jumps on Team A to beat Team B the following week but this feels different. I think if you're betting on Nebraska this week you are just trying too hard to be "sharp". Colorado might just genuinely be good and a few weeks from now it might seem crazy that Colorado was only a 3 point favorite against Nebraska. I could be wrong but I just don't understand why anyone would want to bet Nebraska here other than purely being contrarian. For me, this should be either Colorado -3 or no bet. Just my opinion.
