the only one that feels "off" by more than a few points is Oregon State in Boulder.

they can stay with USC i think due to the game being in Boulder and as Eddy said, USC D could be weak again. jury still out on the Trojan D after several transfer portal additions on that side of the line of scrimmage.

i think the Oregon game could get out of hand as it is in Eugene and Bo Nixon and the Ducks in year 2 under Lanning are starting to take on his personality which is a good thing. he's a great coach.

By the time they meet up, Beavers will be undefeated and in the top 10 while Buffaloes at best will be 5-3. The line is just about right.

yes, 23 points is a lot, 3 full TD's and a safety.

but here is what is working against the Rams:

- ESPN Gameday in Boulder
- Night kickoff in Primetime (no pun intended) on National TV
- CSU Norvell poked the bear

If if if CSU covers it will be because they are an underrated squad - it won't be because CU looked ahead at the calendar to the trip to Eugene.

Gameday and Norvell made sure that will not happen.

if i was forced to make a pick i would say CU wins by 27 but I am not betting on it.

I think Colorado covers ats all 3 of those games. The hate for Sanders has blinded a lot of bettors, who are putting money on what they wish. CU is going to surprise Oregon and USC. They may not win but they won't get blown out.

Agreed with the blinders/hate for Sanders. Not sure on the covers. Hell, they could beat USC/Oregon too. I think these rosters overhauled annually via the portal have changed the game as well. What do we really know about teams, coaches and tendencies when you can instantly upgrade your junior/senior depth in one cycle? Deion will win the portal in my opinion. Of course, early to start talking about banners.

Every single time you bet you're technically "fading" someone on the other side, doesn't mean you're emotionally involved.

The results on the scoreboard are destined to happen regardless of where you fall on the love/hate spectrum for either team. If you love lining your pockets you'll evaluate every game as objectively as possible.

I'm not talking about you Eddy. You've been in the betting game for many years. There's a lot of less experienced bettors that absolutely hate Sanders, hate all the hype, media fawning and especially him opening his big mouth, which he does A LOT. I surf a bunch of CFB forums and a great majority of the posters think he ran his mouth and tried to play the race card. The majority thinks he's overrated and that his team is not very good. Anytime you see that much hate, you better believe those folks are betting the other way (think Floyd Mayweather).

Sanders has some ballers on that team. Led by his own son. They may have more talent than some of the usual named teams. I'm not sure they have the depth just yet? I don't know but I do know that there's no way I'm fading a team that is jacked up out of their minds. Not right now.

I think CU beats Oregon if it was in Colorado. That is a tough game for them on the road. I think USC is a more physical team and will be a lot harder team to beat. I think Oregon will be a close loss and USC beats them by 2 TDs. We'll see.
