i have watched all notre dame games. ohio st has played no one.
Have to give them credit for the blowout vs WeKY. That's an accomplished QB, and they blew em out.
Listened to Brady Quinn on the radio today. I know he's an Irish alum, he had some interesting comments:
1) When asked to comment about Ohio St QB, he instead went to the Ohio St Off Line.
...Very interesting, Ohio St put three OLinemen into the NFL. Unit is not as good this year.
2) When Quinn was asked to give his confidence in Not Dame on scale of 1 to 10, he said:
"10. This is the most athletic Notre Dame I've seen."
...I know he's biased, but I respect his comment. Fair to say that Not D Off Line is better (than OhioSt), and the ND Qb is better (than Ohio St's).
Not D looks live. Only issue is that they seem pretty public this week. And the HC is a question mark.

What are you smoking? The only thing the Hilltoppers have goin for them is glanville and Romeo coached there.
they had a few decent players went there like higbee and zapped they beat the shit teams and get crushed by the good teams. They were 1 hour from home so went and watched them.also good friend played under Romeo.

So, are you saying Ohio State isn't that good?
I'm about to unload 10 dimes on Ohio State -3-115.
Just a watch for me. I don't trust either team. Both teams can lose a close one here and still make the playoff, more so Ohio State. If they lose and win out, they will be in. ND would have to lose a close one, win out, and possibly get help with no conference title game.
Having said that, I like the Gold Domers today, but then again I like root canal surgery too.
Seriously now, ND has the QB advantage, that's the reason.

I thought OSU had some issues running the ball. Coupled with ND playing them very well last year (closer than score indicated) with a worse team, this looks like a good chance for them to win a big game. Not enough for me to bet them though. Marvin Harrison Jr. scares me too much but their QB doesn't look that great either
I swear, this board costs me more money than I can imagine.
Instead of taking OSU -3-115, I had OSU ML-165 and Florida State ML-125 parlay pegged for 6K. Reading this thread made me not follow through with it and it cost me 11K+ in winnings. I would have been nervous as hell as both games weren't decided until the last second.

3 years now. But, while waiting for the football season (which I wait for at least 2 weeks before I start betting), I've been playing a lot more of $100 minimum baccarat and faring quite well. Non-losing streak for the past year or so with that game. Now that I've said that, I could have jinxed myself and start losing but not likely. Discipline and flat betting almost guarantees consistent winning.
I still play Pai Gow Tiles and blackjack and I played at Caesars last night and a player to the left of me made $14,000 in 4 hands and left. His bet sequence was 2K, 3K, 4K, 5K, so just adding 1K to each subsequent bets and he won 4 in a row earning him 14K (it took him less than 5 minutes). I won 4 in a row at the same time as he did, but I made only about $200 flat betting $50 which was the table minimum.
However, I won 6K last night and I have 2 NFL parlays pending which would net me about 8K if I win both; probably not but it would be nice if I did.
1) The Offense did what they had to do to win the game.
2) The ND coverage was too soft on the last drive.
3) Having ten players on DEF. Inexcusable. Coaching error = key driver for the loss.

I get comped rooms from just about all casinos in Atlantic City, so I move every few days and pay $7.54 per day to live in casino hotel rooms. If it wasn't for that NJ state's occupancy fees, the comped rooms would be totally free like in Las Vegas.
So, the average monthly cost to me is only about $230 which is way cheaper than living in an apartment and it's not too difficult to win $230 in a month. I do have a house about 1.5 hours away and I do go home periodically to check up on things.
Fortunately, I don't pay the resort fees because of my player level. Since they are $25 to $30 a day, if I had to pay those then it would not be worth staying in the casino hotels since I would have to win at least $1,000 a month to break even. Regardless, I'm sure $1,000 is still cheaper than renting.
What costs me more are the waitress tips (about $10+ a day) from eating at the player lounges which is basically free, i.e. I don't use my cash to pay for it as it's either free or comp dollars deducted for each entry. Even if it costs me $300 a month in tips, I'm sure I would spend more than $300 a month on food if I had to pay for them so that tip expense is a wash.
Obviously, the trick is NOT to lose in gambling in the casinos; otherwise I'm paying for everything myself but I'm not.
I won $140 last night playing baccarat at Bally's, but there were some crazy patterns on multiple tables where you let a $100 ride, you could clear $50K in a matter of 15 minutes or less. I never saw anyone try it but I wish I will one of these days.
