Good start to the season betting wise so far. Hoping to keep it going Sunday.
Chargers/Vikings - Both teams 0-2 need a win badly. Vikings traded for Akers. Obviously they don't feel that Maddison can carry the load since Cook went to New York. Will Akers be enough of a threat to set up the passing game? Maybe. Hard to believe one of these teams will go 0-3. Ekeler ruled out for Sunday again with an ankle injury and that could be the difference as he's a TD machine. I will take the over 54.
30-26 Minnesota?
Tennessee/Cleveland - Henry off the injury report but Hopkins is questionable. Looks like he will play though. No Chubb but Hunt is back. They might need Ethan Hunt to beat the Titans even though they are at home for this one. Is Watson getting back to what he was a couple years ago? Can Tannehill not cost them with int's? I will take Watson over Tannehill at home especially with Hopkins not 100%.
Browns 26-20
Houston/Jacksonville -Divisional game could be closer than most people think. I am a little nervous taking the Jags in my survivor contest here. I should have taken the 49ers or the Lions but too late. I am probably just over thinking it. Jax only score 9 at home last week against the Chiefs. They will score much more Sunday. Etienne scores a couple TD's and they win going away.
Jaguars 33-16
New England/New York Jets - As a Miami fan, nothing would make me happier than to see these two beat each other up. Zach vs Mac at QB? I'll take Jones. Wilson might be the worst starter in the NFL. I look for Stevenson to get the ball more, Hunter Henry gets another TD and the NY faithful to be booing a lot. Belichick 0-3? I doubt it.
Patriots 20-17
New Orleans/Green Bay - Looks like whether or not the TD machine WR Christian Watson will make his season debut won't be known until 90 minutes before kick-off. GRRR! Love looks good so far. Saints looks average at best despite being 2-0. Not having Kamara until next week and playing in Green Bay's home opener doesn't look like it's gonna be a good outcome. Aaron Jones questionable but Jamaal Williams on IR. Saints D is solid but if Watson plays, he grabs 2 td's and the Packers win by 14. If he doesn't, they win by 7.
Packers 27-20
Broncos/Dolphins - Waddle ruled out for the game. Fucck! They have Hill of course but the also have Cracraft, Berrios and Wilson jr for Tua to hit. Tons of speed still. Also Achane is almost 100% and he is a fast MF! Can Tua stay healthy another week? Can Mostert stay healthy? On the other side, Jeudy looks likes he's 100% finally which gives Russel Wilson his best WR back and ready to show how good he is. 6 points is a lot to give to a desperate Payton team looking to avoid going 0-3. I am nervous about this one.Go Fish!
Dolphins 26-23
Buffalo/Washington - Redskins are 2-0 and at home. Both teams pretty healthy going in. My heart says Washington, brain says Buffalo. Heart. Brain. Heart. Brain.
Bills 27-20
Atlanta/Detroit. Lions lost at home last week against the Hawks after upsetting the Chiefs in week 1 and Atlanta won both their first 2 home games. The Lions played 2 better opponents and only lost in OT last week. Detroit banged up. Montgomery is doubtful but St. Brown and Reynolds both expected to play even though they are questionable. Detroit gets back in the win column. Goff throws 40+ times. Lions 36-23
Carolina/Seattle - Metcalf banged up but probable. Panthers starting Andy Dalton at QB. Seattle runs a lot and wins at home.
Seahawks 24-16
Dallas/Arizona - 13 points is a lot or is it? Zona has been competitive so far but how will their second half meltdown against the NYG last week effect them? Dallas wins but do they cover or do the Cards score a late TD down 20?
Cowboys 30-17
Chicago/Kansas City - Pacheco and Toney listed as questionable. Fields might be benched? Why isn't Kmet getting the ball this season for the Bears? Are the Bears really this bad? The Chiefs haven't been lighting it up so far either. I will take a shot that the Bears will cover the 12 points. They could just as well lose by 28. Gut says Fields will get Kmet the ball for a TD or even 2.
Chiefs 30-20
Pittsburgh/Las Vegas - Classic matchup. Both teams healthy going in except for WR Dionte Johnson of course. Josh Jacobs had a season to remember last season which was the final year of his contract. This season so far, uhhh not so much. In fact, I am gonna sit him tomorrow in my fantasy league which means he probably will score 5 TD's. Steelers have JT Watt. I will take the Steelers with the upset.
Steelers 23-20
Good luck with all your bets.
