Sound bet, so is UNDER 24.5 R/H/E for the game.

W/L records are misleading, look closely at Montgomery's numbers that are relevant.
Dude had a solid season, Glasnow was dominant as well.

This game SCREAMS under, doesn't mean it's going to happen, but MLB is a game of matchups.

Montgomery was magnificent, the under went according to Hoyle.
What I learned a long time ago when I was in Little League is crafty left handers are a difficult fade.

I'll be on Texas in game two with Eovaldi, no brainer there.

My Blue Jay wager is in a tad of trouble here, still time left in that one.
Nice to get the first wager in the win column though.

I'll play F5 if I like a particular starter pitching for a team with a leaky 'pen.
Nothing worse than having your guy pitch six full inning of one run ball only to lose your wager because the bullpen gagged on a lead late in the eight or ninth inning.

We are truly living in the bullpen era now, where approximately 42 percent of all inning pitched are by the bullpen.

I also like F5 wagers where I'm getting +0.5 runs.
Why? You win if the game is tied after five innings.

Texas opens as a 24 cent bow-wow.
I'm not seeing a F5 opening line yet, I'm not really enamored with the Rangers 'pen so yes, Eovaldi F5 is definatly in play as well.

There's several ways to bet Texas tomorrow if you like them, and I do.
Check back in this thread tomorrow when I have all the numbers and crunch them.

Strong lean on Philadelphia to upset Atlanta at +145

I haven't gotten a read on the Twins for weeks now, pass.
I'm going to need more that +135 to fade Houston though.
I have friends in Minnesota so I hope they win, my buddy works for the Twins, so there's a rooting interest there.

Personally I don't think LA is a super team, but Arizona is going to need a perfect storm to advance is the way I see it.

Houston and MN Twins played each other six times this year. MN won four of those games.
Not against Verlander though. Verlander only gave up one run last two starts in 13 innings
pitched. Ober won 5 of last 6 games giving up six runs in his last two games pitched.
My thoughts are play the under but you know how these games can go.
