No Jones, they compete against Bills. Now starting well against the Redskins. Suddenly offensive line isnt an excuse, receivers arent an excuse.
If Jones starts another game the rest of the year everyone in management should be fired. Not saying Tyrod is the answer but its clear the team plays like garbage with Jones at the helm

They gave him a massive contract. How can they keep him on the sidelines?

The Redskins defense is not good. Danny Dimes could probably slice them up as well. Hell, Ridder did last week. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Because he stinks. Do you play a guy just because of his contract even if the rest of the team plays uninspired with him?

Exactly. They can move on from him in probably 2025 but they didn't pay this guy 40 million/year to stand on the sidelines

They played well against the Bills too though. You can't say the whole dynamics of the Giants team over the last 6 quarters hasnt changed. And whats the only difference prior to these two weeks? Jones.....

So you run a team to the ground just for 40M?

I would think Daboll's offense would look better with Kyler Murray, who will be available in the off-season for sure.

If they play uninspired with him in the game, that is on them.

I wouldn't expect a turnover of the entire roster, but what I would expect is for them to go out and earn their paycheck, whether the qb is or not.

You’re giving nfl players too much credit

Fair question and I feel like if they could get out from Jones contract today, they likely would.

You can ask the same question of Desean Watson and Justin Fields. I will still give Fields the benefit of the doubt for the rest of the season but in no way would I feel comfortable giving him a big contract at this point.

Slightly OT but Watson, Jones and Russell Wilson are probably the 3 worst contracts in the entire NFL.

Denver will probably dump Wilson in the offseason, take the cap hit and draft a young QB.

Wilson’s contract is the type of contract as a GM where you just launch yourself off a bridge because you are never going to live that one down.
It also makes Pete Carroll seem like a qb whisperer.
