#4I'm reading many Republican UFC fans are now cancelling their UFC FIGHT PASS prescriptions. UFC is taking a hit with this move. This is not the brightest move by Dana White.Comment -

He spent a lot of energy and resources trying to have it banned, I think (this needs to be fact checked) that McCain had UFC outlawed in 36 states.Comment -

As it gained popularity in the 90s, as a young father I really hated the concept. I felt like it was teaching young men that there was no level of force/violence that was unreasonable in a fight. When I was a kid it was considered cowardly to hammer someone to unconsciousness once they were down. Really didn't like it a lot at the time..Comment -
#10I believe that McCain was only against it in it's early days when there were no rules, he called it "human cockfighting".Comment -

#13I wonder if Dana is going to have Dylan Mulvaney as one of the new ring girls....
Surprised that the UFC wanted to align with them but money talks...Comment -

He also plays the game. I believe Bud Light was the highest bidder and it’s all gamesmanship to let other brands know the starting at price.Comment -

I call the Bud Light thing a boycott. You don't like what they are doing so you stop supporting the brand. To me, cancel culture would be if there were people not allowing anyone to purchase Bud Light. Kid Rock could take a shot gun and blow the shit out of cases of Bud Light and post it on X to make a point but he won't go stand in front of 7/11 and prevent you from buying Bud Light.
Cancel culture is Liberals not allowing a Conservative to speak at their university and not allowing people to hear them talk because it might offend them or they disagree with their point of view or whatever. Boycotting would be just not attending the event.
Take me for example. I haven't watched a second of the NBA ever since they painted Black Lives Matter (a domestic terrorist organization) on their basketball courts. Not a second of it since 2020. That's a boycott. My choice. I never tried to stop anyone from watching or attending NBA games. That would be cancel culture.Comment -
#17You have a different interpretation of "cancel culture" than I do.

Personally, I don't really like UFC aligning with Bid Light but will still watch. Now, if the UFC does indeed make Mulvaney a ring girl, then there would be some serious backlash lol...Comment -
#20I was thinking the same thing but did not chime in on it as we have been over this previously.

I am not a UFC fan or a Bud Light fan (more of a boxing and Guinness guy), but if I was hanging out with a friend who liked one or both of those things, I would watch and enjoy the brewski.Comment -

#22Wouldnt be surprised if the southpaw socialists in the switcheroo crew cry to fake news cnn saying preferred name MgrArenaNotifications or sign holding expert. Its offensive to say ring girl. Lol. Cant put anything past them pricks, they're same ppl trying to screw Trump past 6yrs!Last edited by The_Mr-B_; 10-28-23, 06:08 AM.Comment -

#24How many people drank Bud Light before the boycott? Last time I had a Bud Light was at a frat party in college a long time ago. So I have been boycotting them for 30 years now.Comment -

#26But JIBBBY seriously before the boycott..have you personally gone to the liquor store and gone through the 100s of beers on the shelves and said..I don't like any of them but Bud Light I may try?Comment -

I don't drink to piss and go to the toilet every 30 minutes and not catch a buzz with light beers. I do drink IPA beers though on occasion.Comment -

#29Well to be honest when my buddies and I went out drinking, shooting pool, picking up chicks, etc. we always got whatever was on sale or whatever the special was...It didn't matter to us...Bud light, Coors light, Miller lite, Amstel light, etc. (insert whatever light beer). It's basically all the same shit after you had 4 or 5 them. Of course it was all about being financially and fiscally responsible too. just like with gambling, you had to stay in your budget. I sure as hell would NEVER pay $6 - $8 for a pint or glass of craft beer or any of those bitter ales that tastes like garbage. too many people try to act cool and impress their peers by drinking that overpriced, overrated, and overhyped shit. God forbid you get caught drinking a domestic light beer. SMH! Having said that, my favorite beer of all-time hands down is Sam Adams Octoberfest! fukkin awesome! somewhat bitter and strong but goes down real smooth! and the buzz kicks in real quick! over here in Cyprus, the local Greek beer KEO is tops! tastes great and inexpensive. Carlsberg (a Danish Pilsner) is a very close second! I love them both the same! but I can also to go my local grocery store and get like a big 16 oz bottle of Budweiser for $1.50! not too shabby!Comment -

Vintage ads my arse. There's no way that looks anywhere near the original Spuds MacKenzie dog.
Sidenote, where the fuk did all those Spuds shirts go to from the 80s? Couldn't throw a rock without hitting someone wearing one. Wonder how much those vintage tees go for these days. Still, my money is on Rat Fink in a 5 round match.Comment -

#33[QUOTE=JIBBBY;31245326]Probably more people are drinking it now because it's the cheapest beer on the shelves. Can't sell it fast enough before the expiration date expires on the beer cans. Lol.

Well, there's a ton of people out there buying Dominos pizzas and eating garbage at TGI Fridays n sheeit. Marketing cheap shit to indiscriminate plebs built America. Nobody did marketing better than Bud in the 90s.Comment -

Side note, why the fook is everybody on here posting their tranny pics? Bud's obviously trying to get away from it by lining Dana's pockets. Nobody wants to see dudes in dresses so the sooner we get away from that mental illness, the better for every real muthafucka out here.Comment -
