Redskins, Chargers, Panthers, Patriots, Cardinals, Bears.

Again, for the 1,000,000th time, (give or take), no NFL team tanks! Please just stop it with that nonsense. This isn't the garbage ass NBA where teams do tank and a lot of players don't give a shit on most nights. In the NFL, players and coaches have pride. they are playing for their jobs and potential big paychecks. not to mention auditioning for other teams to build their resume for the following season. Now if you want to say that some teams flat out quit on a coach (and deservedly so) like Brandon Staley and Josh McDaniels, that's fair. As evidenced by the improved and inspired play the following weeks with their respective interim coaches (see both Raiders and Chargers for reference). Also some teams like my foreskins, just flat out suck moose dong in all three phases of the game: offense, defense, and special teams! and are thoroughly unprepared, undisciplined, and outcoached week in and week out! that would also be an honest and fair assessment!...Again, it doesn't mean that they are tanking, but just flat out stink!...

In certain situations and seasons, for sure teams tank. But it is done at the very top, not the players. It all depends on the next draft and team needs. Anyone remember "suck for Luck" by the Colts fans? Yeah, that was an absolute tank job that season. On the flip side, Lovie Smith gets canned for winning the last game of the season last year to knock the Texans out of the top pick. He got railroaded in my opinion.

Who said anything about the spread? Only you look at the spread. The teams that tank only care about the loss. This is so obvious these teams tank a blind man can see it.

If you're seriously foolish enough to think that the Redskins are tanking, do you really think that they would do it by mounting an enormous comeback and then leaving it up to the opposing kicker to make a 53 yard field goal which he could easily miss? Wouldn't it be much smarter to just lose 30-14 and trail all the way? How about the Chargers? Wouldn't it be much easier to just lose by 14-20 than go up 10-0 and risk the opponent getting demoralized and therefore end up winning?

Commanders storm back behind Brisett, take the lead, force a punt at 3 minutes (getting a gift on a possible non-PI call in the process). Your defense is terrible, but played well in the second half.

You need one first down to end the game and he runs the ball into the line 3 times? Plus, Jets only need a FG and have a kicker who is good from 55-in.Then you play soft, prevent defense and let them dink it down the field for the 55-yard game winner.
