#72homie did i hit a nerve... your age 50's?Comment -
#73Well that pretty much tells me why you aren't able to be successful in gambling. You live with recent results which is obviously how you make picks on your gambling. I mean yesterday you were telling us that Dallas was going to come back and you were sticking your nose in every thread telling us GB would lose. You play teasers. That's all I need to know.Comment -
#74age 49 this june.
keep posting your sports picks and wager size.
if you win, i will tip my hat to you.
if you lose, i will NOT say i told you say.
you will have enough salt in the wound so i will not rub more in.
re BTC, since we don't know if the halving will take place in April or May, i think it is a safe assumption that
by Feb end it will be baked into the price.
in stocks, they are always forward-looking. they bake in future expectations.
why would BTC be any different?Comment -

#76^I'm 55 and jealous you young bastards! Father time kicks your ass once you turn 50. I don't even want to think about turning 60..
I'm battling though, eating right and exercising daily. Off the drink now and that was big.Comment -
#77Good stuff man. Booze is bad. Glad you are hanging in.Comment -
#78Couldn’t agree more any1 who plays teasers…the convo is over..yea awesome bet gotta win every game to get an even payout lolComment -

i make my real $$$ in other investments and a cush job.
i do work my asss off, i will admit that, and could be richer working for myself but it's a big risk and I am inside of 10 years from retiring so i am staying the course.
good health to you.Comment -
#81I respect that and nothing wrong with that at all…not attacking any1 but the TeaserComment -
#82I use Fidelity for everything personally and for my business. I have asked them to focus on strong companies that may have undervalued or shit stock performance. My deal is so different- my net worth is in the business literally.Comment -
#83I can trace all bad decisions in my life to booze and then doing other dumb shit with it. It’s called hard living pal. Glad you are stepping away.Comment -
#84Had fun drinking alcohol thru the MANY years of my life I can't lie. Today a little boring being sober. Gotta do it though.Comment -
#85Jobbby you need a hobby. Recreation is re-creation. I suggest communing with nature in some way. I spent a lot of time fishing and woodworking in my early sobriety.Comment -
#86im not even looking at the full username fwiw. I can just tell by the way he is describing his crypto portfolio.
Guy complains that i post about pump and dumps when he is in the biggest one of all. lolComment -

My thing was smoking bud (amongst other substances) as addicts we need to replace toxic habits with healthier habits, for me I got a couple of German short hair dogs and have hiked our asses off, literally, 2k miles a year all while working full time. I can easily say the best “high” I’ve ever had wasfrom being in nature, high alpine (turquoise blue) lakes are majestical, the views from a 13-14k+ summit are unlike anything a photo can portrait. I’m addicted to hiking, I’m consumed with searching for new destinations to get lost in nature. I fuk around with betting and crypto as something for my mind to do, when I’m not in motion, my mind never shuts off, in a odd way, looking at stats, past history, data, graphs, gives my mind something to chew on. My dogs are incredibly strong and fit, they could easily hike 20 miles over rough terrain and then want to turn around and do it again, my old bones after 15-20 miles ache, but I do enjoy all the miles we log.
glad you're facing the bottle head on, if you fall off the horse, get back on, life is a marathon, not a sprint.Last edited by risKingDigits; 01-16-24, 08:24 AM.Comment -
#89I agree with the "teasers are for suckers" argument. Any angles in divisional round?Comment -

I'm retired now and comfortable but I'm thinking of going back to work and creating a starter business perhaps. I haven't committed to that just yet but I'm considering it. It's on the mind. I know that's a big commitment and will surely take up all my free time. I hate to lose so I can't go half assed in trying that again.Last edited by JIBBBY; 01-16-24, 11:51 AM.Comment -
#91Jibbby, I’ve easily blown over a million dollars on gambling, booze, blow, fast women, strippers, etc… at 44- I’m out pal. Downshifting. Everything forever was 1000 miles per hour and as my kids are getting older, priorities. Stay off the hooch pal!Comment -

44 isn't old pal. I was still killing it and on the juice at 44.Comment -
