Mavs bolstered their depth with the trades... bit of duplication with Washington/ Kleber, Lively/ Gafford, but serviceable players. Washington might be the best shooting 4-man playing in the league these days -good fit!
Replying to myself here, but... big bet on the Mavs to win it all this year. Currently 22-1. They have chemistry and they're peaking at the right time.

Nuggets are not so strong this year. Don't get me started on the Boston Bridesmaids .

Of course they'll have to finally get past their nemesis; Clippers.

West is wide open. I think anyone 1-5 + Phoenix can win it (maybe Lakers too)

It helps that Murray's been battling injuries all season long and I can't see him being healthy for the entire playoffs

I don't think it's that wide open. Mavs, Nuggets, Thunder imo. Thunder will be a nightmare matchup -even though they're v.close to top seed in the West it still seems like they're overlooked. Like it would be a shock if they took down the champs in a 7-game series.

Suns are underachievers, currently at 7 fighting to not play a play-in, thats horrendous for this team. I always said last year the Lakers played denver better than them even tho they were swept and suns won 2 games. They were down a lot to the clips yesterday too

Durant has played awful all season. Used to being the #1 option but this is clearly Booker's team and that has affected him.

hes also 35, and still top 2 option. Nothing is wrong with this team on paper they just underachieve, it's what it is. Currently struggling against a clippers team with no starters playing and they are fully healthy..

"on paper" is the most brain dead Americanism I have heard to date. It means the person saying it can only consider a team as a bunch of parts rather than the sum of ...AND also typically assuming the other person in the conversation is equally inept!

                        Bucks remain with Doc Rivers.

                        Marquette kid back in Milwaukee
poised to lead the Bucks into Lake Michigan.

Doc will always cash "the hefty going thru the motions check"
and give an optimistic chat after every loss.

"Doc Rivers" and "The Promised Land" have never been used
                        in the same sentence.

This aged very well for the Bucks.

He might get lucky and win one at the end of his career like Dirk Nowitzki but he ain't winning one this year nor next year, let alone multiple ones.

See you guys next year after Luka doesn’t win a championship. 🤣🤣🤣

Fairly obvious at this point he's going to win more than one championship. Mavs a 2-star team. If they could get a star wing like Mikal/ Markkanen or a star big like Jaren.Jackson/ Ayton they will have a dynasty. Lively would be the bait.

It's funny how when the losing streak at 3 he says the criticism is unfair because he's over-achieved everywhere he;s been, but then the streak reaches 5 and he says it's all on him until they get it right. I'll decide who I'll blame TY, and in this case I was way ahead of him.
