the best FB game college or pro i have ever seen is Jan 2006 Texas v USC in the BCS title game.

Vince Young is the only football player I ever saw in person at the above game and Michigan/Texas Rose Bowl game the year before that looked like an absolute video game out there. He was so smooth in his decision making and scrambling that it felt like it was in slow motion at times and you couldn’t do a thing about it.

One of the first games I ever bet. On advice of my bookie friend, he told me to take Texas plus the points. I don't even remember what the spread was, I think it was USC -7 ??

I remember him telling me everyone and their mothers were on USC. He needed Texas badly. I never saw him cheer as loudly as he did when Young scored the game winner

Yeah the spread was right around there. That game had a little bit of everything in it, never a dull moment.. from the 4th down stop of LenDale White to the 4th down conversion of Vince Young. Stars across the board for both teams.

The Boise State vs Oklahoma Fiesta Bowl was another one. That game played out like a Hollywood movie.

How is this not a holding call? another blatant "missed" call by the zebras? did the 49'ers get screwed? I was sound asleep when this play happened. not sure if it would have made a difference and not saying the game was "fixed" or "rigged" but it does make you wonder sometimes.

I saw several holds that weren't called, one on a Niners DB and another on a Chiefs OL (not the play in the above post); not only that, but the Chiefs clearly had an ineligible man downfield on the winning TD. The refs obviously took a "let em play" attitude.

and I'm usually fine with that Drunk. (the let them play approach as opposed to a flag happy crew that throws a flag on every other play) just as long as they are consistent and call it fairly for both teams!...

The ineligible man downfield no-call was ridiculous, though. Holding is very subjective, that penalty is not.

Drunk, IMO, the ineligible man downfield rule has always been a crock of shit to me. very petty and trivial if you ask me. 99% of the time it doesn't effect or having any bearing on the play itself. also when a QB is scrambling, it's the lineman's job to go down field and block! who cares if they are a few yards past the line of scrimmage? it never made any sense to me! having said, the only time it should be a flag for "ineligible man downfield" is if the QB does in fact throw him the ball! otherwise disregard it and no penalty! problem solved!...

I think that is a rule change that should be seriously considered!...

That Super Bowl was a slow burn up to a decent finish. Equal parts boring and compelling. Only a week later and there's no memorable plays that stand out. Plus fans at SB's are subdued. Business atmosphere.

A close score doesnt mean it was a good game. There were so many mistakes in that game I lost tracked. Anyways, they should go back to the SB being played one week after the conf games. The two week break is a joke

the nfl now is gay as two dudes penetrating. any man putting up with this season and this taylor swift shit is a penetrating retard beyond measurement. I personally stopped watched after that rigged 28-3 comeback with the pats. I was a pats fan and as soon as it hit 19 I knew the script. haven't watched since. I also haven't purchased an impulse shopping item in over a decade. So the commercials are some of the corniest shit on earth in my eyes.
